On this episode of the pod, I break down how social media, specifically Instagram, has changed over the years and ways that I have learned to grow with it. Whether we want to accept it or not, social media is not what it started out as. Everything used to be based off of the number of followers you had, but recent changes have leveled the playing field across all 2.4 billion Instagram users. Everyone now has the chance to go viral. During this episode I will share insight on how what I have learned over the years, and also what I have found out from a call with Meta. I hope you find this information useful!

In honor or Mother's Day I wanted to get an interview with the OG studio babe, my daughter, Romee. She has been in the studio since before she was born and since then has potentially spent more time in the studio than any other child, and has gone through more paper, markers, and canvases than anyone (no lie). She is my ultimate encourager and best art companion. Tag along for this episode for a few sweet words and lots of encourgament.

In 1978, two clinical psychologists coined the term, "Imposter Syndrome". This common phenomenon affects individuals across many industries and is a condition resulting in a belief that you are unworthy or undeserving of your achievements. People who struggle with it feel they aren't as competent, intelligent, or talented as others might think and that soon enough people will discover the truth about them.
In this episode I dive into my own struggles with imposter syndrome and the coping techniques that I have used to overcome it. If this is something that you are struggling with or have struggled with in the past, I hope this episode makes you feel less alone in the struggle and offers you hope, encouragement, and practical advice to move into a healthier mindset.

During this weeks episode I got to sit down with my cousin, Paige Fant. She is a licensed therapist in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. During this episode we got to discuss the different mental health issues that enterpreneurs face. Not only is Paige incredibly qualified to discuss this because she is a therapist, but she also started her counseling agency, Tides Counseling, from the ground up.
During our conversation we got to discuss coping mechanisms for anxiety, stress, imposter syndrome and workaholism; also we broke down the stigma around seeking help. There is nothing to ever be ashamed about. It is the best and most loving thing you can do for your family and your business.

Let’s dive in to a little goal writing session! Maybe you have never set goals before, or maybe you have but you have never taken the time to write them down.
I want to encourage you to grab a notebook and a pen, or better yet...
snag our printable guide to goal planning that we’ve created for you by clicking here
...to start your year off on an organized, positive note so that you can tackle your biggest goals.
Research shows that only 3% of the population sets goals, while only 1% of the population actually takes the time to write their goals down. Research also shows that we are 42% more likely to achieve goals if they are written down. There is power in writing down your goals, referring back to them throughout the year, and taking inventory of your progress so that you can pivot if needed.
I would love to offer encouragement to you for simply being brave enough to complete this goal-setting session. If you feel so inclined, snap a photo of your goals and tag us on Instagram @_the5to9podcast with #5to9ers so we can give you a virtual high five.
