Well well well, if it isn’t our favorite BridgerBro getting his own season! That’s right, Benedict, Benny Bridge, Mr. High & Bi says hi to his own story and bye to the single life (maybe???). Luke Thompson will be taking center stage, and we’re popping back on the main feed to tell you everything we know about the season, to opine a little bit, and even talk about a little writeup we got from Shondaland.com. We’ve missed youuuuuuu!
Theme song as always from the great Mike Hadge (@hadgetunes)! Follow us on Instagram @thebridgertonbros and join us at patreon.com/KevinandJon, and hit us with a rate & review if you would be so kind!

Cressida goes for blackmail, we see the world's longest three-way, Colin mansplains a problem into a bigger problem, a lovely wedding is capped with a kiss that causes more questions than answers, a Queen has a showdown with Whistledown and...a ball full of "bugs."
It's a long ep, but it's 2 hours to last us 2 years. Thanks to all our new friends who have found us this season, and at least an equal thanks to those who have been riding with these silly bros for years. Hope to keep partying with you, to Glasgow and back.

Colin hosts the world's saddest stag party, Pen gets some homespun wisdom at the modiste, Lady Danbury squashes her 10 year old beef (that is to say, her beef with a 10-year old), and Benny decides to fit two hot dogs in one bun. Oh yea, and there's a wedding. Follow us on Instagram @thebridgertonbros and join us at patreon.com/KevinandJon!

The town is abuzz about Cressida, apparently the barely literate, dumbest person anyone’s ever heard of, forming complete sentences as Lady Whistledown, but many have their doubts. Pen struggles with giving up her work for this “dream” life, Benny ends up on a surprising dinner for three, Francesca and Sterling announce a marriage to middling enthusiasm, and you’re not gonna believe this, but…there’s a BALL. And one big reveal (at least to ONE character) at the end. Follow us on Instagram @thebridgertonbros and join us at patreon.com/KevinandJon!

Penelope is up against the clock (as well as the...well, you know). Colin gives FeatherMom the finger (metaphorically). John Sterling's reputation is mud, and Cressida's potential fiance has a few too many years left for her liking. Good s*x on a fainting couch, an actual faint, and a game of charades where they keep saying "hole" -- the second half of this season really DOES go there.

After hard core binging the first four episodes of Bridgerton Season 3, we’ve taken a deep breath, steam cleaned the carriage, and are preparing for part 2. Kevin and Jon analyze the teaser trailer for part 2 of the Polin story, and set the table for another binge-a-thon next week.
Thanks for listening, rate and review if ya get a chance, and if you wanna join the chat over at Discord and get over 100 bonus Kevin and Jon podcasts on movies and other TV shows, join us at Patreon.com/KevinandJon!

Oh, I didn’t see you there, gentle listener. Today’s happenings include Lord Debling contemplating Pen’s settee (if you will), Francesca stanning a silent king, Colin delving into uncharted territory. And with that -- it's the season 3 intermission!
Until the 2nd half, why don’t we all kill some time Rating, reviewing, and joining us at patreon.com/kevinandjon?

Good morrow, gentle listeners! In this edition of BridgerBros the Queen’s love match goes over like a lead balloon, Colin gets soggy thinking about Pen, BridgerMom goes from no glove to some love, the boxer finds out that working just isn’t gonna work, and Francesca enjoys a moment of silence (with a dude?!). Rate, review, and join us at patreon.com/kevinandjon...if you DARE
-
Francesca tickles the ivories as well as the Queen’s fancy. Eloise has trouble keeping her big yapper shut. The boxer and his wife learn the ropes of high society. Colin teaches Pen how to fan the flames of passion.

Welcome back, gentle listener! Lady Fingerbottom has taken up the quill once again to tickle the fannies of the ton. Francesca has her coming out party but Queen Charlotte can’t pick a diamond. Anthony and Kate decide they have more important things to do than vicounting (it’s boning). Colin takes a break from picking up gloves long enough to become Pen’s personal rizz tutor. Rate and review us if you haven’t, and join the full-time fun at Patreon.com/KevinAndJon!

The Bridgerton season 3 trailer has dropped, and there’s minimum two, maybe three new characters revealed already, and one of them wasn’t even in the friggin’ books: Lord Debling (Sam Phillips) a Netflix creation all for Penelope’s enjoyment. He throws a wrench in the Pen/Colin plan, and we’re (sort of) reserving judgment for now. Hit us with your thoughts, feelings, predictions, and if you would be so kind, a rating and a review, even!
We can’t wait to be back for Bridgerton Season 3! Until then, we keep it going over on Patreon.com/kevinandjon.

Bridgerton wished us all a very happy Valentine’s Day with a couple new teaser clips, and we’re here to play them in full for ya, comment on them, and tell you everything we know so far, like the episode dropdates: four episodes on May 16th, and four episodes on June 13th. We also talk sh*t to David Zaslav when we meant Ted Sarandos but the points still stand, and you won’t BELIEVE the trivia Jon drops at the end. About one minute of new video, and 30 minutes of your Bridgerton Bros — sounds about right.

Happy Valentine’s Day, lovers! We decided to do a classic romcom that *one* of us had never seen, and drop it as a romantic, holiday bonus. So here we are, with a movie that doesn’t work on paper, but big time works on the screen: a star-making turn by Julia Roberts who has “it” more than just about anyone has ever had, Richard Gere somehow making us like a 41 year old billionaire, Hector Elizondo being an all-time hotel daddy, Jason Alexander portraying the most punchable man of all time, Laura San Giacomo as a really fun bestie and PATRICK RICHWOOD as a scene stealing elevator man. Oh, and Garry Marshall with one of the most impossible directing assignments of all time, done perfectly.
Folks? After 5 years, this is our longest single podcast episode of all time. We hope you enjoy it, and we love you for everything you’ve done for us. Happy Valentine’s Day.

Do you Bridgerbuddies have some extra traveling this Thanksgiving season? Some extra time in the car, on a plane, or just drowning out your relatives? Well, we've got a sort of on theme bonus podcast for you, bringing it over from the Patreon to the main feed. (Plot summary starts at 9:04 time stamp)
We hop back into the Regency Era for the 2005 Jane Austen adaptation of “Pride and Prejudice” starring Keira Knightley. Elizabeth Bennett has to solve a few mysteries before she catches feelings for Mr. Darcy, but our “plain” heroine does just that, while also trying to play wingwoman for her sister Jane. We’ve got a potato-eating pervert, Mr. Bing Bong, drunk children, a dink with a ponytail, and a nice dad along for this classic ride, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
This podcast happened via a request from SEVERAL patron pals, and if you haven’t yet, join the fun over there at patreon.com/kevinandjon! The video version of the podcast can be found over there. And as always…rate and review us, you dukes and debutantes.

In the Queen Charlotte finale, we all have to slide under the bed for a little safety. In future Bridgerton times, the Queen’s kids finally clap back at the good Queen/bad mom, while still trying to find her another heir, and a little hat gives away an old secret between Danbury and Violet in future Bridgerton times. In young Queen times, she has her first child, and gets to work on another. In both timelines, she ultimately fights through everyone and everything to find her King. We admit it: the end made us emo.
Thanks for joining us on our boozy sprint through Queen Charlotte, and we can’t wait to be back for Bridgerton Season 3! Until then, we keep it going over on Patreon.com/kevinandjon.

It’s time for some vegetation-based sexual metaphors! We get a forbidden love story for young Lady Danbury, a hint at a future love story (or lust story) for the extremely worked up Violet Bridgerton, and Queen Charlotte thinks about bolting for Germany. Ultimately, she decides to stay, and fight, and try to save our George. Also there’s a wedding for people you absolutely do not care about, Eyebrows and Timothy SHAMalet.
Rate and review us, and we'll put in a good word for ya with the newly horned up Mrs. Bridgerton!

In an episode that is a significant amount of scenes we’ve literally seen before, we rewind and get the King George perspective of things to this point. We see him get the news of his wife to be, his ensuing episode, and his last ditch effort to try to “fix” himself, which leads him into the hands of a power hungry, abusive doctor. The good news is: he saved a cute lil’ doggie.
Rate and review us, and we won't dunk ya in the ice bath!

The Queen and King are still beefin’, but that doesn’t mean they can’t put some good old-fashioned hate sex on a regular, every-other-day schedule. We get the OG Danbury Ball, a look at Bridgermom (Violet Ledger) as a child, with her racist mom and enabling (but better) dad, a death that we’ve actually been rooting for, and a big weird night for Farmer George…that ends with a pretty nice depiction of real love.
Rate and review and you’ll be SO invited to our ball.

The Queen goes from bored to pissed as she chases down her king, and asks the very important question: why no bone zone? Ultimately they locate that very important location (with no witnesses, which is apparently an innovation?), and said bone zone is a place their assistants have been enjoying together for a WHILE, apparently. Queen Danbury is a big highlight in this one, with a great showdown with the Queen Mother, and stepping up into the role as Charlotte’s bestie. Things aren’t all rosy though, as we end things with an unfortunate mother/son fight, an unfortunate door left open, and an unfortunate panic attack.
And if it wasn’t too much trouble, a rating and a review would simply charm us.

In the first episode of the Queen Charlotte series, the pre-Queen Charlotte finds her way from Germany to England…and she has no idea why she’s been chosen. She also has no idea what the King’s deal is, or what he looks like. There’s a problematic Queen Mother with an ALL TIMER of a problematic question (shout out to Lizzie for the inspiration), an introduction of our girl Danbury, and a baker’s dozen of loser kids giving our present-day Queen Charlotte some trouble.
Welcome back, Bridgerbuddies! If you wouldn’t mind, we would simply ADORE a rating and a review if you have a moment. Let’s binge this thing!
