It is former Dark Mark Show cohost Josi Kat's birthday and to celebrate we are replaying her birthday show from 2014.
It was Josi's birthday and Mark threw quite a party with a typically eclectic guest list. Actor/Model/Photogapher Eli Brooks talked about being in a Piss Ant video and brought Saariyah Syn who bellydanced for Josi. The fabulous Sasha Scarlett sang a sexy happy birthday song for Josi which entranced everybody, not the least of which Goth Republican Blogger Joseph Fein. Terrie Huberman gave Josi a "Water" psychic reading and former Piss Ant drummer Chuck Sapien recounted stories of being on the road with Josi. Nestor Rodriguez and Simon Kaufman did a freestyle rap inspired by the birthday girl and to top it off Orpheus Black demonstrated the art of rope play and everyone took turns giving a tied up Josi a birthday spanking.

Erin aka Dread Persephone talked about her love of Greek mythology, was surprised to learn of a British band with the same name (who of course will have to change it now) went into detail about how to build a homemade synthesizer, why she doesn't consider herself goth but goth adjacent, why she is a one person band and the challenges of playing live without a band, how even though she has a more electronic sound how she is mainly inspired by Tom Waits and Nick Cave and recites a lyric she was surprised she wrote

Sin talked about recording the latest "final" Ministry album From Beer to Eternity, how hearing Ministry on cassette tape changed his approach to music, the pitfalls of playing guitar in front of a fence, referred to Mark's Ministry hockey jersey as a "onesie", reminisced about being in Society 1 with a few future Ministry members and talked about his new band Supermanic and teaching guitar at the Grammy museum.
Aaron talked about exceeding Al Jourgensen's drum expectations at his first rehearsals as he played the parts that 2 drummers usually play, how John 5 practices guitar in the bathroom, confirmed there is no beef between Rob Zombie and Al Jourgenson, how Al reacted to getting a bottle of Marilyn Manson's absinthe as a gift, playing in his new Brazilian band Black Oil fronted by Tony Campos of Static X and explained how to attain that uniquely powerful Ministry drum sound. -
Friend and frequent guest Carl Crew passed away yesterday. In tribute we are replaying his appearance from 2021 with legendary comedian Joey Gaynor
Carl Crew the star of Blood Diner and The Secret Life of Jeffrey Dahmer and comedy legend Joey Gaynor joined Mark and Nicole just in time for Halloween
Carl talked about his club California Institute of Abnormal Arts, which is now displaying an exact replica of The Elephant Man's bones in addition to 3 embalmed dead bodies including an amazingly preserved over 100 year old dead clown, and has been the home of Bigfoot wrestling. Carl comes from a family of Bigfoot experts and he has an interesting theory of what BIgfoot might really be and he gave a preview of his unlikely upcoming Jeffrey Dahmer movie sequel and so much more
Joey talked about how he became friends with Richard Pryor, after being a fan, which led to him opening for Pryor when he played in LA, he talked about paranormal activity he witness at The Comedy Store in Hollywood and Westwood, which landed him on Unsolved Mysteries, his experiences working at Famous Monsters magazine and it's eccentric owner J. Forest Ackerman, how he is an unlikely star in Greece he time he motorboated Brigitte Nielsen (!) and so much more -

Joey talked about starting out with Garry Shandling and how they did bar gigs together, being inspired by the fearlessness of Richard Pryor and Paul Mooney, what it was like to party with Sam Kinison and seeing the fabled Atuk curse firsthand, what it was like to wrestle women with Andy Kaufman and finishes the show with his Sinatra style version of the Addams Family Song that was featured on Elvira's Haunted Hits. -
The original Manic Pixie Dream Girl and 1980's teen dream Diane Franklin had a birthday today and to celebrate we are replaying her show in 2020
Diane talked about how much fun it is to see her fans at 80s festivals, though the children she teaches acting too these days get first priority. She talked about the enduring appeal of Better off Dead, Last American Virgin and Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and gives her reaction on not being able to reprise her role as the princess in Bill and Ted 3. She delves into the horror films she has been in such as TerrorVision and what it was like to play 2 different roles in 2 versions of the same story in Amityville Horror 2 and the recently released Amityville Murders and acting with Burt Young in both. Bangs the Clown and comedian/astrologer Kristy Belich
Bangs talked about her path to being the Bettie Page of clowns, as she was a 2nd generation clown whose mother dressed her up to march around her in parades, leading her to enroll in clown school where she learned to trust her instincts which have led to her being one of the sexiest clowns on the burlesque circuit. She talks about the hazards of eating glass and spitting fire as well as not impressing the jaded tourists at Morongo Casino even though she was walking barefoot on broken glass (!)
Kristy grew up in Washington DC, where she took care of horses by some of the most powerful people in the world and she got dismayed by the process of legislating as well as working on scientific research for animals and humans. She got into comedy as a way to cope with her PTSD from what she saw and started astrology as a result of an unusual reading of her vagina. She also relates the awful (and wet) consequences that can occur when you touch an audience member in West Virginia.
Kristy also brought her Tarot Cards and gave readings to Bangs and Nicole who appear to have bright and prosperous futures ahead of them.

ARTivist Jil Love and comedian Jamie Gendron joined Mark and Hannah on The Dark Mark Show.
Jil followed up her protest where she put a gold toilet on Donald Trump’s star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame by actually building a wall adjacent to the star. With the help of prosthetics master Cleve Hall her naked body was made up to look like it was made of concrete so that she could look like she is bursting from the wall. She also left art supplies, tomatoes and eggs and let the tourists in Hollywood do what they wanted and wait until you hear what they did.
Jamie spilled the tea on some men she was with, both in the Hollywood scene and in New Orleans. She finally settles the long awaited question: who is bigger in the pants Eddie Murphy or River Phoenix. She also spills the tea on everyone from Robert D’Zar of Maniac Cop fame and Larry Linville aka Frank Burns from MASH. It is the one year Anniversary of the reboot of the Dark Mark Show and Mark and Hannah celebrated with quite a wild show featuring legendary scream queen Deborah Dutch, sideshow madman Dangerous D. and sword swallower Cyrus Pynn
Deborah talked about how a cheerleading accident led to her not pursuing a life as a ballerina (though she still can do the splits as she demonstrated), having her grandmother’s friend Agnes Moorhead of Bewitched fame see her in a high school play, how dating a soft rock star (and smoking weed with a Beatle) led to her relocating to LA, where she got the lead in Bruce Lee Fights Back from the Grave. She did her own stunts and was dubbed badly in that movie and moved on from there to share the screen with Goldie Hawn, be in Miami Vice, and work with Roger Corman and get dubbed an official “Scream Queen” in the 90s. She is now working on her own sword wielding series of films “Hollywood Warrioress”
Dangerous D may be married and has a newborn son, but he is by no means any less outrageous. He claims to swing his son from his ears, offered to give Mark a tattoo on the air. He also talked about his journey from Baltimore where he hit LA with $100 to his name, how he got on Ozzfest, what it takes to impress him and land a spot on his “Shock Show” troupe of performers and why he is producing Cyrus’ one man show as a one-time only performance.
Cyrus is also known as Cydeshow Cy and Cyrus the sword. debuting his show “Down The Hatch” in February in Los Angeles. He started juggling, fire eating, sword swallowing and doing all sorts of sideshow acts in Virginia and came out to audition for Dangerous D during a performance at Ozzfest and ended up moving in with him. He talks about all that can go wrong if you make a mistake and demonstrated swallowing 2 swords and eating a lightbulb.

After 10 years of outrageously hilarious shows The Dark Mark Show comes to an end with a bang as Mark and Nicole threw a holiday special like you've never seen before with contortionist/burlesque dancer/cosplayer Sin Twisted and Santa Claus.
Sin talked about how Andy Dick once tried to bum rush her while she was onstage inside an R2D2 shell, talked about her experience with swingers' clubs and how erotic a pool game can get. How having a steady partner does not inhibit her from having a wild sex life and she teased Santa with her beautiful feet which led Santa to give her a foot massage and have fun between her splayed toes. Sin also brought out her pet python Noodles and let Nicole and Santa pet him as she described the care that goes into a snake and how she was able to do a From Dusk Til Dawn inspired dance during the pandemic.
Santa may have had too much Fireball whisky, but he talked about how he has lost 70 lbs in the last year, how he is never invited to elf orgies, how wild his sex life may or may not have been before he met Mrs. Claus, how aroused he gets from the mothers who bring their children to see him at the mall and he had gifts for Sin and Nicole who sat on his lap (but not Mark, he must have been naughty this year)
This is the last Dark Mark Show ever it seems (a declaration Mark made in 2015 as well).
