Welcome to the table Happy Platers!
Disney Jollywood Nights is returning with even more magic and sparkle for its second year at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! With all the charm of old Hollywood and a festive twist, this after-hours event is sure to make your holiday season merry and bright. On select nights from November 9 through December 21, 2024, guests can expect new surprises that will bring even more cheer to this glamorous, separately-ticketed event. Whether you're strolling through twinkling lights or enjoying special holiday treats, Disney Jollywood Nights is perfect for those who want to experience the holidays with a touch of vintage Hollywood flair.
The construction walls have finally come down around The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort. First announced in early 2022, concept art followed later that year, with an anticipated opening in 2023. By December 2023, the shop had begun hiring culinary leaders, and in March 2024, recruitment for various other roles started. Now, after more than two years of development, it looks like the shop is nearly ready to welcome its first guests. And with the walls coming down, the official menu has been released.
Who is heading to Jollywood Nights?

We have a special guest for you today, Ashley Craft, the author of the Unofficial Disney Cookbooks. As a child who grew up in Anaheim, California, Ashley could recite the Star Tours ride by heart, navigate the Park without a map, and fell asleep to the sound of Disneyland fireworks each night in her bedroom. After two internships at Walt Disney World and many, many more visits to the Disney Parks, Ashley is now one of the leading experts on Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Her popular blog, Ashley Crafted, is best known for featuring recipes inspired by Disney Park foods to help people recreate that Disney magic right in their own kitchens.

The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival first began in 1996. At the time, it was a modest event—just a 30-day celebration held in the fall. But even then, it was clear that Disney had tapped into something special. The festival was designed to enhance the park's World Showcase by offering guests the chance to sample global cuisines and fine wines, bringing a whole new layer of cultural immersion to the EPCOT experience.
What started with just 25 global marketplaces scattered around World Showcase Lagoon has now grown into a massive event that stretches over several months, featuring over 30 marketplaces, celebrity chefs, cooking demonstrations, and even live entertainment. The festival has truly become a staple of EPCOT, attracting foodies from all over the world.
Now, let’s talk about what’s in store for 2024. This year's festival will kick off on August 29th, and run through November 23rd. As always, guests can expect an incredible lineup of global marketplaces, offering small plates and beverages inspired by cuisines from around the world. So grab your favorite park snack, settle in, and let’s get started!
When are you heading down and what is one your "Must Eat" list?

This immersive dining experience opened on March 18, 1967, and was the first restaurant ever to be built inside a ride attraction anywhere in the world.
