"What do you want from life?" is one of the most intimidating questions conceivable. It's why so many avoid it. But if you have no purpose, you will pursue pleasure.
Not having a clear understanding of where you want to go, who you aspire to be and what you want to achieve leads to an oscillation between existential crisis and self-soothing distraction techniques.
Over committing to work or training. Doom scrolling. Wondering "where is all of this leading?!".
It can not and will not ever lead to fulfilling ones fullest potential, or becoming Hard To Kill.
In this episode, you can expect to learn WHY it's so immeasurably important to have clarity on your vision...
And HOW to use a simple questioning sequence to iterate a vision for your future and create your mission.
The answer is already within you. Let's find it...
-

Mike Chadwick is a Paratrooper, former Special Forces Support Group Operator, Author and fellow Coach.
In this long awaited episode; Mike and I sit down to discuss peak performance, how we frame and respond to failure, our respective mindsets around coaching driven humans to elite levels…
And so much more!
-
Ambitious, driven and type A people typically have a lot on their plate. That likely includes you, too...
Frustrations arise when there's so many tasks, so much stuff and endless 'things' to be tended to on a daily basis...
That it feels like we're spinning our wheels just to not go backwards.
The result?
You find yourself running around like a headless chicken, constantly 'doing', but never seeming to get much done.
The implied solution? To do even more.
In my 10 years of coaching 1000's of peak performers, I've learned why that's the single worst thing we could possibly do in this moment.
Instead...
I'm going to run through two simple frameworks to help:
1. Create a refined understanding of the 'equation' to double your productivity
2. Shift your beliefs, create the energy and inspire the vision needed to implement those changes.Be prepared to increase your output, your fulfilment and your performance!
-
In this Episode I discuss how Self Esteem can actually cause us to undermine the greatest version of ourselves, why the word 'should' fills our lives with shame and embarrassment that can stop us giving maximal effort.. and what role the Ego plays in all of this.
Be prepared to learn how the Ego is the part of us that we are aware of, when we think about ourselves... and how, if we don't regulate this..
That it runs amok and ensures that our faith in our abilities suffers, our confidence dwindles and our fear of looking inadequate keeps us stuck and struggling.
-
Knowing how to lead, how to inspire and how to get the best for, and from, people around you is hard... But it all starts with you.
Success minded people often find themselves in positions of leadership. Either intentionally, or through being the highest performer in the room.
Then the real questions begin... What if they think I'm a fraud? What if I get found out? How I get the best from these people around me? How do I lead them, and this team, to a successful outcome?
Self indulgent, over-engineered and dry books on the subject are little use.
In this Episode, I run through the HTK Leadership Doctrine on how we take our clients from unclear and uncertain...
To confident, authentic and ultimately human leaders.
This episode will revolutionise how you see yourself, your daily habits and how you communicate about your vision and mission for success!

Do you ever find yourself saying ‘yes’ to things you don’t really have time for?
Or slowly increasing the amount of training you’re doing…?
Gradually creating a tempo of life that just gets faster and faster, with you feeling like you can’t - or shouldn’t - slow down, for fear of not getting it all done?
This is commission bias, in action.
This tendency towards action, even in a situation where not performing one leads to an identical, or even better outcome, is known as the commission bias…
And it holds so many ambitious, high performing people back from attaining their true peak potential - ensuring they’re always spread a mile wide and feeling like there’s simply not enough hours in the day.
In this episode - we discuss its implications and, more importantly, what can be done about it… -
In this episode, I delve into the often-overlooked and borderline taboo topic of guilt and its deleterious impact on high performers.
I explore how the desire to perform to your greatest potential can not only lead to a constant, debilitating and shameful sensation of guilt - but how it can also hold you back from reaching anything like your true potential.
If you're a high performer looking to overcome feelings of guilt and achieve even greater success, this episode is a must-listen.

Decision making is in immeasurably expensive process, in every sense. The time and shear mental energy required to do it means that we are often leaking performance in every area of life, unless we create a better solution.
Failure to leverage our solutions results in reduced executive function, wasted time and an inability to make quick, concise and effective decisions over even the most trivial decisions - and this is before we add in "what should I eat, what should I train today, should I be doing zone 2 cardio" etc etc
In this episode I walk us through how we can overcome decision fatigue by leveraging how and when we make decisions.
