At a 2-5 mark, Duluth rolls into Eau Claire looking to sweep the Express and come home with their first winning streak of the year. Base on balls were the main issue for Huskies’ pitching during the week, but the coaching staff is sure it will get sorted out. Zach Linfield hosts Episode 14 with one guest, Michael Altman. Altman has played for Coach Pointer before and channeled the role of closer. At 6’6, he brings a mad intimidation factor to the mound in the 9th. If his role ends up being the closer for the Huskies, I wouldn’t want to step up to the plate in the 9th trailing by a few runs. Episode 9 of The Howl, hosted by Zach Linfield, brings along Tyler Meyer and Max Pappas on the podcast. Stanislaus State’s season was cancelled in the state of California and these two may feel a bit stale but exclaim how they are staying active and ready for the season in the Northland. The Howl, featuring Zach Linfield, brings along the Huskies’ Owner, Michael Rosenzweig, for an interview regarding what it takes to own a team in the Northwoods League and how the league has decided to follow through with having a season regardless of the COVID-19 ongoing pandemic. Zach and Michael have a lot of fun discussing all things Huskies before the season officially begins. This interview is the last episode with team ownership and coaching staff before we meet the players. All of April and May will be dedicated to podcasting with the players so you all as fans can understand who is wearing the Duluth uniform. The 4th episode of The Howl, featuring Zach Linfield, brings along Darrell Kyle. A pastor at a local church and team chaplain for the Huskies, he talks about his role with the team and how he interacts with players. He also discusses how he can keep himself and others in an optimistic mindset even through the toughest of times which for him, includes going overseas and representing his country. An interesting episode that doesn't provide much detail about sport, but a connection with the state of mind and the player. Enjoy the episode and Rollskies!

Hitting Coach Jeff Chapuran visits The Howl! The young coach who has been all over the place in the past few seasons brings a sense of that “youth coaching culture” to Duluth that the country has been observing. We chat about his past experiences as a high school and college coach and what he takes from those to be an affective coach. We also touch on his role in recruiting and what he looks for in a batter at the plate. Only 26 years old, Coach Chapuran is excited and ready to get with the players and have a successful first season at Wade Stadium.

Welcome! My name is Zach Linfield and I will be your podcast host, play-by-play broadcaster, and public address announcer this season. This podcast is designed to not only allow you to keep up to date with Husky baseball, but to understand who is repping the Duluth uniform. On the first episode, we talk to Greg Culver, who is the General Manager for the Huskies. Finding out plans for a summer season full of fun, baseball, and hopefully wins leading up to the opening pitch against Waterloo. We also meet him as a person and discover that he can't get the ball out of a sand bunker (Totally kidding... well... maybe). We also discuss how he felt about the Super Bowl. Nonetheless, welcome in and Go Huskies!
