March's Episode!! I recently took a break from all socials for a month and instagram is currently the only one I've come back to! I did this as a little self social experiment just to see if I could undo any self toxic habitual patterns I was doing! And I wanted to document what I noticed and how my relationship will be with socials moving forward as I honestly never thought i'd ever be off it lol xx

A final episode of this year, I think it's fair to say we are all happy to see the back of 2020. Rather than focusing on what I did manage to achieve in this weird year and set goals for 2021 etc, I spent this episode reflecting on what I learnt this year. What we can take forward to 2021 and what we can leave behind this year. It's been such a hard year for everyone and big THANKU to the health care staff and key workers of this country that have had to carry on no matter what. Including my bestie Lara (a friend to the pod) who worked directly on the covid frontline ily. Follow @kweenspeechpod as we have some big changes and exciting new content next year, stay tuned and happy new year x

Such a surreal thing to be a topic on my podcast, but I wanted to follow on from my 'Making a Movie' episode where I chatted with the creators of the feature film 'Charlotte' as that has now been shot and I was a character in it! I wanted to share my experience of booking this job during my gap year without an agent or at this point, any formal training backing me, for anyone else who might be in my position! I also chat about how different it was to do screen acting for the first time and the process of shooting the film ! This was a dream come true to be a part of and i'm forver grateful, follow @thecharlottemovie on insta, @Charlotte_movie on twitter and @kweenspeechpod on insta for updates!

A little while ago, I sat down with Alice Muhley CEO and Founder of a new business called Face of Waste, which is a hub of all cruelty free and vegan cosmetics from some amazing sustainable brands avalabile to buy at the click of a button from one place, Face of Waste. All of the products come in sustainable pacakaging too which was actually the basis for this company, it started as a packaging idea and along with help from The Prince's Trust, Alice created Face of Waste. We also discuss personal struggles Alice had to face whilst starting her own business along with the pressures and scrutiny of trying to put it out there on social media and the pandemic delaying everything! Follow Alice on Instagram @littlemisspintsized and follow @faceofwaste for more updates! Glam without the guilt.

SERIES FINALE! What a special way to end Season 3 by having my own mum as my final guest!! My mum is one of the most amazing people in my life and has overcome so much, with her own personal battles with anxiety and depression. She had a complete job change and lifestyle change really and now runs her own business upcycling furniture in her own shop! Her story is very inspiring and she is proof that mental health issues can affect anyone BUT everything happens for a reason and lot's of amazing things can come from something negative! Follow her instagram @shellebellauk and her facebook page 'ShelleBella' to see all her amazing work!

Picking a route in life or a career path is never straight forward and it doesn't have to be either. I've talked about doing what's best for you on the podcast before and I get asked about career paths and ways into industry's and post school life a lot! So this week i'm joined by my friend William who is in a completely different industry to me to discuss the differences between them and the various ways to get in them. Society, schools and people in general can put pressure on us to follow 'normal' and conventional ways of education and careers but sometimes taking a step back or doing something that suits you, is the best thing you can do! So that's what we explore this week on TKS! Follow Will on insta @wxllxammcc

I wanted to do a follow up episode to my second ever podcast episode where I talked about the gap year I was about to embark on! Something I never thought i'd do and not exactly the year I had planned due to these unprecedented times. However I wanted to talk about what I actually did end up doing, what I learnt and how I worked on my mental health and have tried to better myself as a person. This gap year was like a self social experiment to see what can happen to one person in the space of a year.

Pride Special!!!!!! Join me as I discuss my thoughts about Pride, why we have it, the people that came before us and the people we have sadly lost that should be celebrating with us today. Even though we can't physically celebrate Pride this year like we usually do, I still wanted to communicate and celebrate with lot's of different people! So I got as many Kween's Speech guests as possible to share what Pride means to them! My guests have consisted of community members and allies so what a great way to summarise Pride on my podcast than to hear from the voices of The Kween's Speech Podcast! https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/obituaries/overlooked-marsha-p-johnson.html A very insightful article about the correlations between Black Lives Matter and LGBTQIA+ rights movements!

This week's episode is a super special and slightly surreal one!! I'll be interviewing the two creators and star of indie psychological thriller 'Charlotte' which i've been cast in as the character Ryan!! To think I started off this podcast as a way to keep productive but also put myself out there, and now i'm speaking to the two people that cast me in their film on it! It feels very full circle and i'm so so glad they agreed to join me on The Kween's Speech! Follow them on instagram & facebook @thecharlottemovie and on twitter @Charlotte_movie for all updates!!

After the recent events of the brutal murder of George Floyd, I really wanted to discuss #blacklivesmatter as i've discussed many social issues on here already. By now there is enough evidence going around of what we should and could be doing to help the movement and if you're a privlidged white person, how to be an ally. So I thought the most long lasting and powerful form of education would be for you guys to hear it directly from people of colour and their experiences. Join myself, Nkara, Shyanne, Toara and Thanaa for an open discussion. Listen, learn, share. Be an ally and use your privlidge to know how you can do more, what you need to work on, where you've gone wrong in the past and how you will move forward with what you should now know x
-
This week's episode is a chatty one, following on from a poll I did on my instagram 'Do many of you feel pressured to stay productive due to what others post on social media?' and I got a lot of responses! So I wanted to sit down and share my thoughts in regards to this as i'm sure it's something a lot of people think about. Social media makes it so accessible to contantly see what everyone is doing, that at times we are bound to compare ourselves and put ourselves down. Join me for the discussion and thankyou for your support x
