For Episode 2 of Our AMPLIFY Series (amplifying black voices, stories, and businesses in the cannabis industry) we interviewed Michael Brown the founder of Eternel Hemp. Michael started out as a computer programmer before getting into real estate. He saw an opportunity in vertical farming – and an even bigger opportunity for good in hemp. His goal now is to use the hemp farms they build to employ individuals that were incarcerated for cannabis crimes – to give them a new life, and equity so they don’t end up going back into the system.

Dr. Lewis Jassey is a pediatrician who comes to us today, amidst this unprecedented health crisis in the world, with over 25 years of experience. He has run a practice of over 15,000 patients in the past, been on staff at 5 major hospitals, and has lectured nationally for pharmaceuticals and pharmacogenetics. He has appeared many times on national TV & radio shows before, and he even authored the well-known book called “The Newborn Sleep Book”, where he shares his full proof method of getting children to sleep through the night. So needless to say, he comes to us today with a wealth of medical experience.
Dr. Lewis is now using his skills and experience to help patients get their medical marijuana cards through telemedicine (or video conferencing). He believes that patients that are immunocompromised or even just busy should not be forced to leave the house (especially during the COVID-19 pandemic) to get medicine that helps them live a normal life. Learn more in our interview below.
If you are suffering and in need of medical marijuana to live a better or normal life, we encourage you to consider an online consultation. We have partnered with LeafWell to offer our readers $10 off of your first consultation using code MJE10 here.

Dr. Ellen Wiebe focuses her work on Abortions and Assisted Dying, procedures that she says are very similar in that they are basic human rights that people are denied access to.
Through her work and research she has done some incredible work for women and is globally renowned for killing off sexual health myths with science. A lot of her research involves cannabis - initially she wanted to find out if it could help with period pain and then medical abortions.
She then wanted to find out if cannabis really enhances sexual pleasure.
We interviewed her about her studies and experiences in the medical field.

We think it safe to say that every rock star has a unique and interesting relationship to cannabis- whether or not they use the plant themselves. This week, The Mary Jane Experience had the opportunity to interview Garrett Dutton - better known as G.Love - the lead singer of G.Love and Special Sauce. We have to admit, we fell in love with him a little bit. G.Love was honest, kind, funny, way cooler than we will ever be, and completely full of entertaining stories.
G.Love has not been shy about his use of cannabis, he has a song called “Who’s Got The Weed” and the subject comes up often in his music.
While G.Love is clearly no stranger to smoking weed, we were curious to hear about how cannabis has influenced his music and overall career, crazy backstage stories, if he is looking to get into the cannabis industry and insights into his life in general.
We recorded from The Green Room at the Belly up in Aspen, Colorado - where many of the biggest names in music play - and quite honestly, this is one of the coolest interviews we have done to date.
The entire interview is transcribed on our blog here >>>
