Many of us strive for more and work for what might be, but never stop to reflect on how far we’ve come; we never stop to celebrate our win’s. Success starts with trying, accepting failure, and realizing that life is a journey, where it’s ok to achieve something less than perfection. After over 20 national and international titles, American, US Open and World Records, after two kids, a homestead, a successful real estate investment business, when will we acknowledge that we are good enough? Come join our story, as we embrace our life of ’ish.

With two Olympic gold medals already under his belt at just 23, Tom Dean MBE is taking on what many say is impossible in Paris this summer: he'll be attempting a record-breaking five-medal haul.
It's the ultimate challenge, one that no Team GB athlete has ever achieved before. Tom is going to need every bit of help he can get; that’s where the podcast comes in. The mission? To build the 'Medal Machine', an all-encompassing behemoth that is going to give Tom the edge come July.
Less 'high-intensity training camp in the alps', more 'down the pub round the corner from the pool', the podcast will cover everything from the very best cheat meals with celebrity chefs, to writing motivational chants with popstars. Tom's conversations will arm him with the knowledge he needs to be the best version of himself out of the pool, so he can make history in it.

Welcome to SWIM ROOTS.
Hosts Bryce Davies and Nicky Young share stories from the people who define the Culture of Open Water swimming. Athletes. Rebels. Dippers. Risk takers. Lifeguards. Adventurers. Pioneers. Community leaders. Pirates.
We explore the Drive and Passion that draws each of us to the water, and celebrate the diversity of community. Misfits who share a calling. -

The mission of life after swim is to create a sense of community for retired swimmers.
Retirement comes with a lot of unknowns and no one gives you a guide on how to navigate life after swimming.
I don't have all the answers but I hope this podcast gives you insight, advice, and support for life after competitive swimming.
I also hope to break the stigma of mental health in the swimming community by engaging in honest and real discussions.
If you are looking for what life looks like when you hang up the goggles for good look no further!
Now onto the show! -
