  • Episode 278: This week, Nat sits down with her friend Jeanine Amapola, a long-time content creator and recent author! Nat and Jeanine met as neighbors in LA during the peak of the DIY influencer movement and stayed in touch over the years as their shared interests in beauty, fashion, and faith evolved along the way. Jeanine has been making content since 2010, focusing on mostly fashion and lifestyle, but hit a rut in 2019/2020 as she was in a difficult relationship and also dealing with some negative online comments about her content. With the help of a great life coach and a diligent approach to rediscovering her faith, she turned the corner, landing in a healthy relationship (with her now husband!) and feeling much more secure and confident in the content she was making. She credits her dramatic change to her faith, and it culminated in writing a book about her journey titled “Becoming Happy and Healthy,” which she wanted to write to help other women who were feeling the same way as she had been. Tune in for a lively discussion as the two share personal stories and anecdotes that we think you’ll find super relatable!

  • Episode 277: This week, Nat is joined by her friend Lisa Gilmore, a jewelry entrepreneur living in Miami, as they chat about everything from the Miami dating scene to personal growth to why Instagram will likely never have a search function to see who’s looked at your stories (come on, Meta, give the people what they want!). Lisa describes herself as the ‘queen of the situationship’ and declares that she’s ready for love after having learned from experience that dating people from out of state hasn’t worked for her (eligible bachelors in Miami, we’re looking at you). The conversation shifts to personal growth as Lisa looks back on her twenties and reflects on how much she’s changed her outlook on what she wants in life. They wrap up with thoughts on the Love Island drama (Leah and Rob, anyone?) and how escapism TV can be the perfect antidote for the pressures of daily life.

  • Episode 276: Nat’s getting the inside scoop on health and wellness in Miami this week as she sits down with Lucy Nelles, owner of Hi Vibe Wellness and event host for the ultra-popular ‘Coffee and Chill’ series that has been taking the city by storm. Lucy started her journey as a creator right after she moved to Miami a few years ago and wanted to provide event alternatives to people that were living alcohol-free. She clearly struck a chord, as the response has been overwhelmingly positive, having now hosted 50 events (yes, 50!) over the last year and a half, and she even had one beach yoga event attended by 1200 people! ‘Coffee and Chill’ is a cold plunge experience combining coffee and community, which aims to be inclusive and non-intimidating. Can you think of a better wake-up combo than an ice bath and caffeine?? We can’t! Tune in for all the details on how Lucy makes these events happen and so much more.

You can find Lucy on instagram @lucelianelles and follow @coffeeandchillmiami and @hivibe.wellness for info on the next events in Miami!

  • Episode 275: Today is a big day for Nat and her team at Rella! They are officially announcing a relaunch of their social media management tool as Rella 2.0. As first-time founders, Nat and her business partners have learned so much along the way since the app’s initial launch, and so with honesty and transparency, Nat gives us the details on what made her and her team decide a relaunch was necessary. Nat goes through all the business reasons why they made this decision, from the previous version targeting the wrong audience to trying to be too original of an interface, which led to a user experience that wasn’t working for either the Rella team or its customers. But with these learnings comes the opportunity to start again—a fresh page, a blank slate—and Rella 2.0 is going to be better than ever! With a more user-friendly interface, better affordability, and more effective tools, Nat is sure that their new targeted customers will see its value right away. It’s another fascinating episode on the business side of social media and start-ups, one that Nat is in a unique position to speak about!

  • Episode 271: This week’s solo episode is all about transformation. Nat’s been thinking a lot about that lately as she looks back on how much she’s changed over the course of her twenties and what she wants for the future. For one, she’s no longer a ‘relationship girl’, and that feels good! In fact, it’s allowed her to focus on her career and set more time aside for her personal growth, which she is super proud of. She knows that the right person is out there for her, so for now she’s not rushing it, but she also sometimes can’t help but feel those societal pressures to get married and start a family. She’s been feeling both confident and insecure about her future at the same time, a tough position for anyone to find themselves in. But thankfully, her faith has been a huge source of comfort for her, and she’s come to the realization that letting go of what you can’t control may actually be the best way to brush off the anxieties she’s been feeling lately about work, life, and relationships. It’s sage advice for anyone who’s been feeling weighed down lately and needs a perspective shift as Nat approaches it with a combination of self-love and personal reflection—two things we can probably all agree we need more of!

Having recently gone through a breakup, Crystal came to NYC from the San Francisco Bay area in search of inspiration as a content creator and also for work as a data analyst at TikTok. Despite outside noise telling her she had to choose one thing or another, Crystal talks about how having two very different interests has been so beneficial for her personally and how one really compliments the other. Nat and Crystal talk about everything, from the pressure of putting out consistent content to the trap of perfectionism to the therapy that comes with doing the things you love. This week’s episode is all about the importance of embracing new opportunities and letting your individuality shine!

  • Episode 260: This week, Nat sits down with Rella’s co-founder and developer, Connor Boyce! Nat and Connor dig deep into Connor’s background, talking about how he went from graduating with an electrical engineering degree to becoming a self-taught software engineer. Connor explains how he never really saw himself working in electrical engineering and instead decided to start his own software consulting company. This decision led him to meet Natalie and start Rella, and, well, the rest is history! Connor walks us through the first step to learning a new skill and how reaching out and talking to people you admire who are already in the field is ultimately more valuable than just about anything. Oh, and Connor’s words of wisdom when learning a new skill? Fake it ‘til you make it, and confidence is key! Nat asks Connor for tips and tricks on how to create a work-life balance and how nurturing a working relationship is pretty similar to nurturing a real-life human relationship. Finally, Connor discusses what he thinks he’d be doing if he never met Nat and began his journey with Rella (and trust me, it is not what you think he’d be doing). • Episode 259: This week, Nat is back with another solo episode! She starts the pod off with the realization that she’s been in Miami for (almost) the entire month of March, which is the longest stretch she has been home in months. Then, she dives right into the topic for today: staying motivated! We’ve all been there, and it’s totally normal to have periods of your life where you are not motivated. Luckily, Nat walks us through tips and tricks she uses to stay motivated, such as consuming content, recognizing things that make her excited on a daily basis, and the importance of taking time to step away from work (because rest is important!). Nat talks about how she and her friends keep each other motivated and inspired and how surrounding yourself with like-minded people provides validation, motivation, and encouragement to continue pursuing your goals. Finally, Nat talks about “reverse engineering” to accomplish your goals, how to take that first step, and the importance of “finding your why.” If you’ve been struggling with staying motivated or just need a few extra tips to keep in your back pocket, today’s episode is for you!
