When we left Georgie and GiGi, they had magically traveled back to the year 1776, where George Washington -- then General George Washington -- was coming to their rescue. I can't wait to find out what happens next!
But first a quick snapshot of our first president: Washington was a courageous man: in both physical courage and the courage of sticking to what he believed in, no matter what. He was an honorable man, maybe the most honorable president of all time! Here's why: As our first president who was much loved by the country, he could have done probably anything he wanted with all that power. But he gave up his power when he didn't have to. After serving two terms as president, he went back to his home in Virginia and let the American people decide who was to become the next president. That is one of the very few times in history when someone who had power -- and could have kept it -- willingly gave it up for the good of the people.
Now, let's return to Christmas night, 1776, as Georgie and GiGi cross the Delaware with Washington -- and maybe even help him win the Revolutionary War.

For this, our season two premiere, we wanted to launch today, Presidents' Day! Especially since the new season is based on George and CLEO's new book Presidential Conversations for Kids -- what better day than Presidents' Day to make our first two episodes available?

In each episode, the two G's will encounter a different president on their exciting adventure and learn a lesson in leadership from each. Broadway star and celebrated narrator Stephen DeRosa voices all the characters, including Georgie and GiGi. And you'll also be hearing from George, CLEO, Iya'Nique and me, Tavia! We're so excited, and we hope you are too!

Today we bring you the remarkably inventive -- and remarkably prescient -- story from author George S. Corey. Waiting for Our Vote is presented as a play -- yes, an actual play -- in two acts. It is, of course, a satiric, and I think ultimately deeply moving, reflection on voting rights, set on Election Day, 2022, and features Presidents Lincoln and Biden, Vice President Harris, and a cameo by none other than Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, repping her amazing voting rights organization Fair Fight. But the showstopper -- literally, a showstopper -- is a new fictional character, Elsa Égale, a 1930s cabaret singer with a powerful musical message. We know you’ll love it!
