We are doing 10 days of contradictions to kick off this show because it is not widely talked about everyone should not have every herb not everyone will have the same reaction and there are some contradictions possible negative interactions that I feel you should know about stick around for the ride in episode one we cover garlic yes garlic the garlic we use in our food is very medicinal, it is slept on way too much and can be dangerous for people taking certain medication as a holistic practitioner. I standby integration, and all the benefits of integration all although you have to know what you are doing and why you are doing it garlic can be very powerful super helpful, medicinal, beneficial, especially for cardiovascular health and immunity. If you take Coumadin that is a possible negative interaction if you constantly take aspirin that is another possible negative interaction. Plavix, ticlid, there is also a possibility that herb could interact with drugs, such as DIABETA, or G LUCOTROL that lower the blood sugar. It is important to pay attention as garlic appears to inhibit in enzyme, called CYP2E1. It is involved in the metabolism of ACETAM I,NOPHEN, such as Tylenol, etc. and the muscle relaxant called CHLORZOXAZONE these drugs could possibly linger longer in people who are taking or eating garlic.
