Another year in film has come and gone, and what a year it was! 2022 provided us with lots of thrills and chills - as we saw the horror and thriller genres have a few phenomenal surprises. While Sequels and The Marvel Universe reigned supreme at the box office, small indies shined just as bright in limited release and on streaming, giving us the film lover a year full of engrossing entertainment.
To review the best of 2022, I welcome to the show the host of the #1 Entertainment Podcast of 2022 on Playlyst - The Back to the Blockbuster Podcast, the one and only Mr. Gaius Bolling. Gaius and I discuss our biggest surprises and most disappointing of 2022, then deep dive into our favourites of the year.

With theatres coming back to life and movie-goers getting back to old habits, the release schedule is beginning to fill back up once again for 2021 and 2022.
On this new episode of the Top 5 Film Dive, Host Kurt Morrison (@iamkurtymo) welcomes three guests, McNeill Mullikin (Host of the McNeill and Friends Podcast), Tim Morgan (@tmoaudio) and Tucker Wulff (@tuckerwulff) onto the show for the Inaugural Top 5 Film Dive Movie Draft.
Looking ahead over the next 18 months, Kurt has complied a list of 25 upcoming movies and in pure Fantasy draft style, given the fellas $1000 (fictional) dollars to build their roster of 4 films as the films are auctioned off one by one. The goal is to create a roster of popular, sure-to-be Box Office hits, that are be voted on by YOU - THE LISTENER - in the upcoming weeks, resulting in one of the 4 being named 'The Top 5 Film Dive Movie Draft Champion'.
