The two-year adventure from Cornwall to Australia had changed me so much, there wasn’t enough of me left to function in normal life. My self-image had inflated too and I’d become delusional. This realisation was so sudden that I began to go insane.
Thanks to finding the right books and being in the right place, I managed to rebuild myself into someone new. The old me remains dead, but the new one grew out of that. -
If you followed my adventures from that start, you'll remember an incident in Morocco. Preparing for the big adventure from Cornwall to Australia, I went on a smaller expedition through Morocco and Spain. While there, a group of soldiers puled the car over and fought with my driver about how to deal with me!
