Suzanne Redmond talks with artists about their artwork, techniques, and how they’ve created a successful business. With her background in accounting, finance, and exhibiting art, she knows what it takes to get your artwork seen and sold. She’s chosen artists who are working their business – exhibiting their art, teaching others, and finding unusual opportunities. You’ll hear from some unsung artists, who are extremely talented and creative, and hopefully you’ll look up their work and be inspired by what they do. ‘What are they doing?’ is a project done by dima efremov, Anya Tolstukhina and Katya Bondar in collaboration with sound artist Alice Kibin, which explores the questions of: how performance art becomes an anti-war tool? Where is the line that crosses activism and performance? How can artistic skills benefit the anti-war movement? Which strategies of action do artists choose during the war? We’d like to talk about it and if not to provide you with clear answers, at least to bring into the spotlight the strategies of action.
