Chris and Dom had a lot to unpack in this episode as the first round of cuts were made. Fabian Lysell and Georgii Merkulov were both sent to Providence. This caused fans to lose their minds, until Monday morning!
Jeremy Jacobs, Cam Neely, Don Sweeney, and Jim Montgomery held their season opening press conference during which Sweeney makes it known that the Bruins are willing to go to $64 million. Late last week, the hockey world lost two incredible people who performed at an outstanding level on the ice. Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau were taken from us far too early in life in a tragic and indefensible way. After offering their condolences to the Gaudreau family in addition to the Blue Jackets and Flames fanbases, Chris and Dom turn to their normal banter and discussion about the Boston Bruins.
As Captain's practices begin and Jeremy Swayman remains unsigned, we recently learned about a barely used option in the CBA for players to defer salary and save their team against the salary cap.
