“At 39, I faced an unexpected battle: healing my 12 mm L5/S1 disc herniation and sciatica while navigating the shortcomings of the healthcare system. As a Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner, I knew these pitfalls, but enduring countless ineffective treatments revealed how broken the system truly is.
