I dag 29 år etter kommer det fortsatt tips om hva som skjedde med Therese. Gjennom fem episoder går Uløst inn i saken som fremdeles står som en av Norges største forsvinningssaker.Uløst sesong 1 handlet om 17 år gamle Birgitte Tengs som ble funnet drept på Karmøy i 1995. Ingen har blitt dømt for drapet. 20 år senere spør vi hva som gikk galt med etterforskningen. Gjennom seks episoder forteller vi historiene fra menneskene som jobbet med saken og om to familier med hver sin versjon av sannheten.
