Today, we welcome Executive Education faculty Amy Phillips. Amy has been a faculty member at the Daniels College of Business for more than 20 years in the Department of Business Information and Analytics. A dynamic, engaging, and passionate professor, Amy teaches one of our most popular workshops called Data Visualization Using Power BI.
Amy joined the Accelerate Webinar in June of 2022 to explain a why you don’t need complicated math or sophisticated algorithms to make an impact using data visualization.

Today, we welcome Executive Education faculty Scott McLagan. Scott has more than 25 years of industry experience and is known for having a framework for every business situation. He has been Professor of the Practice in the Management Department at the Daniels College of Business for many years. Scott is also one the lead faculty of the Denver Leadership Experience, a five-day, transformational program offered by Executive Education for experienced managers.
Scott joined the Accelerate Webinar in April of 2022 to explain a new context for leaders as the world emerges from COVID.

Today, we welcome Executive Education faculty Jed Summerton and Michael Myers. Both Jed and Michael are key members of the Daniels faculty and regularly teach in both Executive Education and the Daniels College of Business core degree programs. They co-teach a new course called Digital Marketing Using Data Analytics which is offered every fall through Executive Education. Both have extensive backgrounds relevant to this topic.
Jed and Michael joined the Accelerate Webinar in March of 2022 to help demystify digital marketing so that it will drive results for your organization.

Today, we welcome Executive Education faculty David Worley. David is the Executive Director of Executive Education here at Daniels, and he’s been a thought leader in the management and leadership space for several years. He has a PhD from the University of Denver, and a Master’s degree in leadership from Bethel University.
As leader of Executive Education, one of the things that David does best is designing programs for adult learners. He really listens to an organization’s goals, pain-points, and desired outcomes, and then he works collaboratively to create a custom learning and development program to match.
David joined the Accelerate Webinar in January of 2022 to explain the trends he’s witnessed in the leadership and learning and development space in the last year.

As a strategic learning and talent management consultant at Jacobs, Bo focuses on leadership development, team effectiveness, and learning solutions to drive business and talent strategy. Today, we welcome Executive Education faculty Brandon Daruna. Brandon is the Chief Executive Officer of Eagle County Paramedic Services and one of the lead faculty teaching the Public Safety Leadership Development program at Executive Education. In the classroom, Brandon combines his experience as a first responder, his passion for education and his expertise in the leadership development space to provide a truly life-changing experience for public safety professionals.

Today, we welcome Executive Education faculty Jed Summerton. Jed is a business executive and consultant with deep experience in strategic IT, data and analytics. He goes beyond technical analysis to also explain how the data delivers improvements to business alignment, organizational development, and process optimization.
In addition to his work in the new Daniels College of Business Digital Leadership Master’s program, Jed teaches an Executive Education course called Strategic Advantage Using Data Analytics. Over three days, Jed merges the best instincts of an executive leader with those of a data scientist to help you learn how to build and implement a data strategy at your organization.

Today, we welcome Executive Education faculty Kellie Jenkins. Kellie is a leadership coach and consultant who teaches in many of our customized leadership programs. She is passionate about working with professionals, especially women, who want to grow in their ability to become better leaders. Kellie is originally from Australia but has lived and worked around the world.

His wide range of work experience includes time at Intrado and BuildingDNA, and Joe is currently the chief revenue officer at Atos and the CEO of the consulting firm Lionshare Negotiations. Joe has studied under some of the world’s best-known negotiation scholars, and this knowledge, combined with his “on the ground” experience, have enabled him to successfully negotiate business contracts worth billions of dollars.
Joe appeared on the Accelerate Webinar Series in the spring of 2021 to present his unique methodology to negotiating, one based on understanding human behavior, on preparation, and on developing relationships.

In this episode, we welcome Executive Education faculty members Dessa Bokides and Keely Gohl. Dessa has worked in a variety of finance and financial services roles including Goldman Sachs, Doitze Bank, pitny Boes, Prologis, and GMAC. Her 25-plus years of experience includes both “in the trenches” work and leadership roles, and Dessa has also served on a number of Boards.
Keely earned both her bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Denver and has also worked for a variety of clients in a variety of industries. Her experience, which includes work at KPMG and various nonprofits, has provided her with vast knowledge about an array of accounting scenarios.
Dessa and Keely teach the Finance for Non-Financial Managers workshop at Executive Education, so they joined the Accelerate Webinar is March of 2021 to share what you need to know about your organization’s finances.
