We pick up here where Chris has been drafted #2 in the first round by the SF Giants. You will be surprised by the signing bonus!! In the next 3 1/2 years he moved through the minors. However, a nagging elbow kept him from being his best. You will hear how different players were treated back in the 70's as opposed to now. Would his journey been much different today? Especially if he had used the offers to USC and UCLA instead of going right to the pros? We also talk about finding Senior baseball and the difference to the pros.

Jim's journey wasn't always in baseball. Buy the time he gets to High School other sports take over. We find how a high school coach not only helped him in a sport , but also taught lessons that made a difference in his life until now. As we have seen several times before softball took over for a while. When baseball was available Jim went for it! That led to managing , a board position, and finally to League President.

Sometimes baseball gets short-circuited at a young age. But interest in the game continues anyway. Even if it can become part of a novel you end up writing. Look for American Boys "A Stupid Baseball Story" on Amazon! Along with other books by Taylor Waters. On this show, we get to find out how writing screenplays led to novels. We hear about the mentors who inspired Taylor along the way. Comments to [email protected]. Complete list of all our guests at jayciambrone.com on page 5.

A little different this time. Talking with Ted about the current state of mortgage rates and future possibilities. In addition, we used a situation we were both involved in to talk about the positives and pitfalls of buying and financing a HUD home. Most HUD homes are bought with cash by those who plan to flip them. An entirely different situation if you plan to renovate and live in that property. Comments and questions to [email protected].
