Our enterprise technology and full-service media and marketing capabilities provide online businesses the power to maximize ROI on multiple platforms and channels with geographic precision.
SHOW NOTES:
- DFO Global is known to be one of the best in buying traffic across all the major platforms online.
- In the very early days, Jordan was one of the first people that sells products on eBay. Before that he was helping his Dad with his antique business, but later on realized that he had no interest with it.
- He became an apprentice for a watch dealer and spent years selling watches on the sidewalk of New York.
- "I learned about business, but more importantly, I learned a lot about people" - Jordan
- Jordan decided to put the watches on eBay and helped his Father to setup an account for his products too.
- He got the watches for about $175 and sells it at $750. The watch business on eBay took off. Unfortunately, his partner suddenly passed away and forgot to tell him who his resources were.
- "Make sure that whenever you are working with someone you understand all aspects of that particular business"
- After his eBay venture, he moved to Miami and started running a Financial Services company.
- Jordan built a small business focused on lead generations. It became pretty successful that a bigger company offered to buy it from him. He didn't realise until it was too late that they were buying the business for the technology.
- "If I had brought in some people who can really give me a proper guidance I probably could have sold the company for 30 or 40 times more than what I have sold before"
- In building DFO they made a decision very early on that they are going to be a global business.
- In the very early days, they started selling mostly in English speaking countries like the US and Canada. Then started branching out in Europe and eventually to Latin America like Brazil.
- They fail to set up local banking and put their money in a local bank in Brazil. Then the market crash happened and their money was cut in half overnight.
- An opportunity opened in Argentina and they decided to sell their products there. They had a major problem when a lot of customers had some issues with the products not being delivered. Turned out there were people inside the Customs that took all of it and sold it elsewhere.
- "It's all about assessing the opportunity. There are roadbumps along the way in any business you are setting up and you have to make the decision as an entrepreneur like "do I continue to go forward base on what I believe the business can do or do I just shut it down or sort of take a step back..."
- And the last thing Jordan wants to emphasize is to find the right partners and to ask the right questions out of your partners. "If you are not getting the right answers from them, then maybe they are not the right partners for your business."

Brian DeMarco is the cofounder of Primal 7, Draftr, and Draftr Media, and is also a retired pro NFL player.
In a nutshell, Brian says he played in the NFL way too long. He played "four years for Jacksonville and two and a half with Cincinnati before they broke me—literally. I was actually broken going into my last hit, which caused me to have 17 spinal fractures and an avulsion fracture of my hip. My lower lumbar crushed like a cookie. You could imagine doing a reverse toe touch… the back of my head hit my heels, hit from behind, hit in the front. It was over.
"I lost 90% of the function of my right leg, so I was completely disabled. In fact, my hips rotted through the flesh on both sides. I had these gaping holes on my sides. I was wearing wound vacuums, trying to keep my legs from going gangrenous. My wife was caring for me 24 hours a day even with our kids. It was truly a mess. I was dying in every way a man can be dying-- physically, financially, and spiritually. I was just gone."
Watch this episode to hear the full story of Brian's comeback for the ages. You will be blown away by how he leaned on God and his amazing wife to re-write the second half of his story!
