Episode 200: As Jesus and His disciples were walking, Peter asked Him a question about forgiveness. In response, Jesus told him the story of a servant who owed his King an excessive amount of money. There was no way the servant could pay so he begged the King to spare him and the King forgave him his debt. But later, that same servant went out and found someone who owed him a very small amount of money. When the man begged for mercy, the servant had him thrown into prison. When the King found out about this, the servant who had his large debt forgiven was sent to be tormented in prison until his debt was paid.

Episode 199: Another time as Jesus was teaching His disciples He told them the story of an ignorant rich man and a pitiable beggar. The rich man was selfish and indifferent to the suffering of the poor beggar that lived in front of his gate. When they died, it was Lazarus, the poor beggar, that was in the home of Abraham enjoying the good things he missed out on in life, while the rich man was in Hades tormented by hunger and thirst. Though the rich man begged Abraham to send Lazarus to warn his family about this, he refused saying they have The Word of God already to warn them, if they don’t listen to this, they won't listen to anything else.

Episode 196: As Jesus and His disciples were passing through the streets of Capernaum, they passed by a man who had been blind since birth. The disciples, misunderstanding the man’s condition, thought that his blindness was a result of sin. But Jesus proved to them that the man was not blind because of sin but rather so God could be glorified in healing him. After Jesus had healed the man he was brought in front of the Pharisees to be questioned about his newfound sight. But as they were questioning the formerly blind man, his honest answers revealed their spiritual blindness.

In this Bible Story, Jesus defends a woman caught in adultery from being stoned to death. She is drug out into the public half naked for all to shame her. Yet Jesus stands up to the religious leaders, and proclaims that whoever was without sin could throw the first stone. Episode 195: The Pharisees once again trying to trap Jesus in His words bring Him a woman caught in the act of adultery. As they were trying to push Jesus into either forgiving the woman against the Law of Moses or stoning her as the Law requires, Jesus pushed them instead. He challenged them to take a look at the sin in their own lives first and the Pharisees began to leave one by one. When all who were left were Jesus and the woman, He spoke words of forgiveness and comfort, sending her on her way saying “go and sin no more.”

Episode 194: The very next day as He and His disciples were on the other side of the sea, the crowd had tracked Him down. They wanted another miracle but Jesus cared more about their hearts than their bellies. And as Jesus was trying to teach them these things, they became confused and frustrated. The teaching was too hard for many of those in the crowd to accept, so they left. Later on, the disciples that stayed learned a lesson about God’s grace to those outside of the family of Israel, as a Canaanite woman begged the Jewish Messiah for help, hope, and healing.

Episode 193: As Jesus resumed his teaching around the shores of Galilee, the crowd around Him grew to swelling numbers. After teaching them all day, He had them sit for a meal. Though there were only two small fish and five round loaves of bread, Jesus showed the crowd that He has the power to provide for their needs. He multiplied the food to feed over five-thousand people! After this, the crowd became frenzied and Jesus sent His disciples ahead of Him on the sea while He escaped to pray. As the disciples were on the sea in the late of night, Jesus appeared walking on the water next to them. And though they were frightened they got a first-hand glimpse at what faith in Jesus can do.

Episode 191: There was a pool in Jerusalem called Bethesda, where men and women went to be healed by the waters. Laying at this pool was a man who had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. He could never get into the pool to receive healing because no one would carry him. However, Jesus had a plan for this man and asked him if he wanted to be made well. At His word, the man could walk and was healthy once more! But when the Pharisees saw this man they rebuked him for “working” on the Sabbath.

Episode 190: As Jesus was walking around Judea teaching the people, a man named Jairus, a leader of the synagogue, came to Him. He begged Jesus with tears to heal his daughter before she dies. Jesus, rich in mercy, followed the man to his house. While on the way a woman who had been in pain, bleeding for twelve years, made her way to Jesus. At the touch of His cloak, she was made well. When they finally arrived at Jarius’ house, it was too late…or so they thought. Jesus had the group of mourners leave and made His way to the girl's room, and at His word brings life back into her lifeless body!

Episode 189: Jesus, weary from a day of teaching and ministering, went aboard Peter’s boat to sleep while he and the rest of the disciples made preparations to sail to the other side of the sea. However, a great storm was on the sea that night and the boat began taking on water by the bucketful. Frighted Peter woke Jesus up and as Jesus spoke, the wind and waves became silent. When they finally arrived at the shore of the Gerasenes, a broken, bloody, and demon-possessed man ran to Jesus. Not even a legion of demons could stand against God’s power as Jesus set this man free!

Though some scribes in the crowd were angry at Him for this, He proved His authority to say this by healing the man. As he and his friends walked out of the house, everyone was amazed. Episode 181: After a long night of no catches, Peter and his brother Andrew were getting ready to go ashore. Just as they were getting ready to turn in, Jesus came to them asking to use their boat as a platform to teach from. After He was done, Jesus told Peter and Andrew that if they went back out into deeper waters they would catch fish. Though there may have been some reluctance, Peter obeyed and to his amazement, they took in a catch so big that the nets began to break. This got Peter’s attention. Later that week, as Jesus was walking around Galilee, a leper approached Him and begged Jesus to cleanse him. Breaking all convention Jesus touched the man and he was made clean!
