This week I'm joined by one very inspiring mother. Teharnee takes us through her story - a cervical cancer diagnosis while she was pregnant with her son. We chat about treatments, fears, challenges and of course her little darling Harry. Teharnee hopes that by sharing her story she is able to reach others that may be in a similar situation.
Thank you so much once again Teharnee, lots of love.
If you'd like to connect with Teharnee, you can find her over on instagram @teharnee_the_ginger

My dream girl Leah Patara joins me on the podcast to share some serious wisdom. We chat conscious conception, birthing the beauty and mama meditation. Thank you so much Leah xx
"Once we stop and we are in the present moment there is always, always beauty in it. I feel like I have mastered that quite well. When you have crawled the depths of the darkness and the ugliness inch by inch, corner by corner with three children on your back, I only had to look up as see those beautiful children and realise there was so much beauty."

My dear friend Lucy joins me on the podcast this week to share her two, very different but equally beautiful birth experiences. Lucy had her daughter in hospital under the care of a private obstetrician and her son on her kitchen floor... an unintentional free birth.
We also chat about PCOS, hyperemesis woes & breastfeeding triumphs. This is a long episode - Lucy and I love a chat but she is one wise women, a. wealth of knowledge and I'm sure you'll love listening to her story.

Hannah joins me this week to share the birth story of her daughter Elodie. Hannah unfortunately suffered with some pretty gruelling HG for the majority of her pregnancy, she was sick whilst in labour and passed out at one point due to severe dehydration the poor darling. Despite all of that, she went on to have a positive vaginal birth. I hope you enjoy listening along and if you're in the depths of morning sickness or HG yourself, sending lots of love x

Sally joins me on the podcast to share some gorgeous birth stories with us. Three peaceful, positive, relatively fast vaginal births. Sally shares her older children with her ex husband and baby Vinny with Fiancé Jack. We chat a little about family dynamics and what it was like birthing her third baby with a partner that's experiencing all the magic for the first time. Highly recommend a listen for first time mamas, Sally explains that her daughter's birth was so beautiful there could have been harps playing in the background, love love love.

Lovely Christina joins me on the podcast this week to share her two birth stories. Christina is incredibly down to earth and speaks candidly about her experiences. Two vaginal births in the public system, the first leaving her with some birth trauma and the inability to cut chicken post episiotomy. She then went on to complete her Hypnobirthing Practitioner Training and then used those skills throughout her next birth, a positive and powerful experience.

Beautiful Renee takes us through the birth of her son Freddie. She thankfully conceived on the first round of IVF and then had a very seamless pregnancy with lots of birth preparation. She read The Birth Spare - Gabrielle Nancarrow, Rhea Dempsey's Birth With Confidence and also attended a Calm Birth course.
Renee realised that she was in labour while she was attending a dear friends wedding and shares her beautiful send off, surrounded by her closest girlfriends. She then went on to have a unmedicated, hands off, positive birth at her local public hospital.

This week Natasha beautifully shares the pregnancy and birth of her daughter. She also shares her history fainting with pain and all the work she had to do to change the narrative & story so she could pursue an unmedicated birth with confidence. Honestly, I've listened to a lot of birth stories in my time and this has to be one of my faves.

Jenise takes us through her very recent and very fast home birth. It's a short episode but a lovely example of just how efficient and beautiful birth can be.

In this weeks episode of Bloom Birth Stories I chat with Jane who shares her most recent birth experience. She was initially birthing through her local public hospital in their home birth program, those plans changed however when some covid restrictions came into play and ultimately led her to free birth her daughter at home. Jane retells her story beautifully.

In this very first episode of Bloom Birth Stories, I thought it would be only right to share one of my own. Chatting all about how I knew I was destined to be a twin mama, hyperemesis, my desires for a low intervention birth and honouring fourth trimester. This is the birth story of my darling twins, Dusty & Pixie.
