While Darkmore Penitentiary is a stand alone series, we HIGHLY recommend having read Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac and Zodiac Academy so that you understand all of the Easter Eggs the Sisters leave, and you don't get mad at the hosts for talking about the previous books, which they do.
