We especially remember young Rocco Travers who sadly passed away this week and play out with the Big Strong Man in remembrance of the battle he put up against the evil of cancer.

The episode title this week comes from The 1966 Up The Rebels Album. It is a song the was written by the blind Dublin street poet and balladeer named Michael Moran otherwise known as Zozimus. We talk about the song, about Zozimus about the Woletones part in the Theatre pplay about Zozimus called Zoz which was performed in The Olympia Theatre in Dublin. We talk of Golf, The Euros, GAA and Stonehenge myths and legends. So come join us on our ramble

The Song was adapted by Peader Kearney and Brian talks about the 50th Anniversary Easter Rising commemoration and meeting Eamonn De Valera. We talk about Glasnevin. Famine Villages and the Euros. The music this week is The Tri Coloured Ribbon, The Lough Sheelin Eviction. We also have a new song that Ciaran wrote along with Thomas Goulding which is a rough recording to provide a sample for an upcoming charity gig. We play out with the great Rebel County of Cork song Skibereen.

This week we start a new series of podcasts for The Wolfetone's album from 1966 called Up The Rebels. This weeks featured song is The Man From Mullingar. We talk about the song about the lockdown issues surrounding Dublin's city centre about favourite live gigs ever. We also feature a song from Catalpa's first album Breaking the Mould and a song called The Hot Asphalt - we play out with the song Brian wrote for the 1916 Centenary called The Road To The Rising and this was recorded Live in The City West Hotel with The Celtic Symphony Orchestra.

We talk about song contests in Tralee and session playing at the Rose of Tralee. We look back over the album and we talk about lock down whats next for The Wolfetones and what our next step will be for the podcast.

This weeks show is song number 14 from the 1965 Wolfetone's album The Foggy Dew. A song called The Boys of Wexford. On this weeks show we are joined by Bernard and Neil Warfield. Bernard has performed with a few bands over the years - The Round Towers, Hatch and he is currently a member of Paddy's Dream. Bernard gives us his background on his musical career including working with a Heritage Group based in The Liberties including a project about the Lock Out in 1913.
We also chat about his gigs at Italia 1990 and we introduce three songs from Paddy's Dream - The Beggin Ass (Written by Bernard) The Boys of Barr Ná Sraide and we play out with an original song called The Corkman's Ramble.
