We finally did it! We got into the same room together and we brought the incredible host of Wine and Weed, Chris Reinacher! This week the Cable Boys dive into the depths of the inexplicably titled 90's coming of age drama, My Girl. Seriously, why the hell is it called My Girl? Whatever.
We talk about everything from Chris's family history, to if Justin would let his kids watch the movie, to Kevin's weird amount of hostility toward Thomas J., to Post's lack of a heart. This one might go down in textbooks as the defining discussion of My Girl... Or maybe not. Either way, it's fun as hell and you're gonna have a great time.
Make sure to like and subscribe wherever you find this and tell your friends. If you tell a friend and they don't like the show, Post will personally take them out to coffee and explain why they just didn't get the jokes and why the show is actually funny. That's the Cable Boys Guarantee.

Join Kevin and Post this week as they unveil next week's movie, discuss the best on-screen kiss of 1991, and how the movie affected the heavy metal scene of the time. While that might seem a little scattered, apparently Post had no idea what movie we were intro-ing today so I'd say that we stayed pretty focused considering. It's short, it's sweet, and it'll get you all pumped for next week. Give it a listen, rate it 5 stars, and then tell a bunch of friends. Be the person at the party that won't shut up about your new fav podcast find... at least as long as that new fav find is us.

Oh boy... This one is tough to explain. Honestly, I've tried to write this description like 20 times and I'm coming up with nothing so here's how IMDB describes this little adventure:
After getting into a serious car accident, a TV director discovers an underground sub-culture of scarred, omnisexual car-crash victims who use car accidents and the raw sexual energy they produce to try to rejuvenate his sex life with his wife. We're joined by Film Critic and Programmer Justine Smith to discuss what makes this bizarre 100 minutes of film special... or haunting... or traumatizing... or maybe all of the above. We also chat about Post's ill-fated dating decisions, NFTs, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's "chronic black face" problem. Its a romp
As crazy as it sounds, this is probably our best episode yet so if you like it please rate us 5 stars and subscribe to the podcast feed. Man, begging for the approval of strangers of the internet never gets old. Oh, and if you're going through the trouble to do that, why not tell a friend to do the same thing. It'll be like that movie "Pay It Forward" but instead of doing it for the good of the world, it'll be so that we don't need to get real jobs.

Kevin and Post give you just the tip for your ear holes and hope they don't break your drums. And if you (justifiably) find that wording to be very uncomfortable, oh boy are you in for a ride with this week's movie. Join us as we intro our next film, play a round of "guess that fetish", and watch a video of two bees copulating. We're casting a pretty wide net here. So go give it a listen, subscribe to the pod, and give us 5 stars. We deserve it.

Get ready for some crazy violence and a whole lot of bravado. We watched Gladiator... or wait, did we watch THE Gladiator? Or did we watch the other Gladiator? Whatever, it's the one where Russell Crowe entertains us, and it's got a lot of dude energy.
We're joined by comedian Brett Raybould to discuss, "the worst movie to ever win the best picture." What was Joaquin Phoenix like on set? Which cast members were the biggest drunks? Is there going to be a sequel? We cover all these plus tons of other questions you probably never had about this movie.
This one's a real hoot so head on over to wherever you listen to podcasts and make sure to subscribe to the show, rate us 5 stars, and leave us a glowing review. We've been practicing pretending to be sincere while talking about how much we love random startups with no vowels in their names. We'd hate for that work to go to waste.

After the last mini-episode we were absolutely inundated with fan-mail all asking for one thing and one thing only, more truly terrible accents. Well, we take fan feedback seriously so let's see how many Italian fans we have after Posts shows us all what he thinks Italians sound like. You'll also hear Roger Ebert's thoughts on our next movie, Kevin's opinion of Led Zeppelin, and the secret to dressing up day drinking to feel like less of a degenerate. Lots of ground covered, so make sure to subscribe to the podcast and rate us 5 stars. Also, tell your friends so we can get big dumb corporations to sponsor us instead of each having to work in the customer service departments of said big dumb coporations.

What a truly wild story about a deranged kidnapping plot that has absolutely no basis in reality... right? Totally fictional? Find out this week when we discuss the under-the-radar Australian "gem" Fortress. We cover everything from Post's inability to care for children, to Justin's thing for older women, to the insatiable Australian need to snack.
This episode deserves to be considered for preservation by the library of congress, so make sure to subscribe to the podcast and rate us 5 stars if you haven't already. I hear Helix gives hosts they sponsor free mattresses and I'm pretty sure Kevin currently sleeping on a pile of hoodies abandoned at his place by ex-girlfriends. Help get Kevin a mattress.

The time has come for us to alienate every Australian fan we have. This week we introduce our next film but we don't have a special guest so instead, we spend lots of time doing bad accents and learning about slang terms from down under. If by the end of this episode you haven't written us off forever, make sure to subscribe to the podcast and rate us 5 stars. Seriously, we've earned it by now. Also if you tell enough friends Post will have to read an ad where he pretends to be super passionate about optimizing corporate workflow. It'll be hilarious.

Sex, lies, and surf nazis, Fast Times at Ridgemont High truly has it all. Join us this week as we talk with the inventor of improv, JD Walsh, about a movie that broke the brains of teenagers while also breaking the actual VHS tape. We cover a lot of ground and ask the tough questions like, "did this stuff actually happen to Cameron Crowe?" and, "is Professor Hand actually right?" and most importantly, "is Judge Reinhold a nice guy?"
Seriously, you're gonna love it, so make sure to subscribe to the podcast and rate us 5 stars if you haven't already. Then go tell a friend so we can convince ZipRecruiter to give us money.

The Cable Boys are shaking things up and it starts right here, right now, with our very first mini-episode! That's right, we've created the entirely original, one-of-a-kind concept of releasing short miniature episodes in between our full episodes to give you even more of our sweet sweet voices. This week we introduce our next film along with our very special guest, we chat about the stinging feeling of losing a perfect clip to the abyss that is Youtube, and some rather unconventional awards given to one of our very favorite actresses. It's the best thing we've ever done, so download it, rate it 5 stars, and tell your friends to do the same.

Hello, friends!
We have a short announcement for this week.
Which you can hear all about if you click on the episode.
Could I have just written about it here in the episode description?
Sure. But then you wouldn't have heard how crisp and clean my voice sounds.
Which is sorta what the announcement is about.
IDK just listen.
Thanks,
Post

Hey you little Chimpanzees! Do we have a hot episode for you this week. Listen as we discuss the barely legal, coming-of-age sex drama Paradise, starring Phoebe Cates and Bibleman. CW: there's a good amount of talk about monkeys having sex. Or maybe that's your thing, swinger? No judgement.

Short announcement: Soon we will return to releasing episodes every week. We are fortunate to be bringing on a new producer for the show. His name is Kyle Neal and we couldn't be more excited to work with him in bringing our show about boobies and gore to a wider audience. Cheers!
