Heyy family! 🤍 By God's grace, we're in part 7 of our "Kulture to Kingdom" series and I'm excited to have Ty, a friend, & brother in Christ on for this episode to speak on the similar story we share in God breaking us to build us. We found ourselves idolizing past relationships, and although heartbreak isn't easy, we later discovered that God was truly doing a work to bring us closer to Him. Culture projects this mindset of avoiding discomfort, holding onto grudges/offenses, and this individualistic attitude of putting yourself before others. But, the Kingdom says God uses the pain we go through for our good and His glory - we're not called to live this life for ourselves but for Him. Let's talk about it.

Hey CiC fam... it's been a minute but we're back :)) We are in part 4 of our Culture to Kingdom series !! In this video, we'll talk about surrendering our feelings over to the Lord, and the importance of catering to our Spirit rather than our flesh. As humans, we are naturally corrupt, it's in our fallen nature to make bad decisions and lead ourselves astray. The good news is we have Jesus, the righteous and perfect One who came to save us from ourselves and gave us His Spirit to lead us to everything that's meant for us.. there's just one condition: we have to follow Him.Leave a rating, follow, and comment! Happy Sunday! Join my special guest and sister in Christ, Sandy and I as we talk through the feeling of FOMO(the fear of missing out) as a college student and what that looks like as a Christian while pursuing a relationship with Jesus. As followers of Christ we are called to walk down the narrow path and remain set apart from the world. This means as we transition from Kulture to Kingdom, the truth is that there will be certain things we no longer can indulge in as we pursue righteousness. Sandy and I will talk about the many struggles that we faced and are still facing as seniors who've been involved on campus and how to navigate these feelings as we continue to walk with Christ.

Hey familyyy! In this episode we'll talk about how the transition from culture to kingdom can be uncomfortable. Culture tells us to do what makes us feel good. But, when walking with God, He can place us in situations that feel the opposite - uneasy, uncomfortable, and sometimes painful. As followers of Christ, we have to be careful to not live a life dictated by our feelings. Trust in the intentional God that we serve. Sometimes, our discomfort is required. The longer you remain stuck in cycles/places that keep you comfortable, the more difficult it will be to walk obediently in God's swill.Subscribe! This series will be about recognizing everything culture influences you to become v.s. everything God has already created you to be! Do you want to keep settling for the ways of world? Or are you ready to walk with the Lord and truly SEEK FIRST His Kingdom? Let's talk about it.Leave a like & hit the subscribe button! Hey familyyy! In part 2, we talk more about forgiveness and the importance of this act as we strive to be more like Jesus. Maame and I hone in on key moments where God led us to forgive certain people in our lives so that burdens could be lifted and transformation could take place. As Christians, it should be in our nature to forgive. In Matthew 18, Jesus encourages us to forgive, not only 7 times, but 70 times 7. Always be willing to extend the gift of forgiveness to those you hold grievances toward. As long as you remain in your feelings, you are prolonging your ability to move forward. Let go and let God 🤍 We hope this video blesses you! Let us know what you think about forgiveness in the comments :)

Happy Sunday 🤍 For part 1, in this episode we'll talk about all things friendship and what that looks like as followers of Christ. Our God is relational, He did not design us to walk alone so Maame and I will discuss the ways in which we are dealing with friendship now that we are in a true relationship with Jesus. If you're friends are not bringing you closer to Jesus and edifying you on this difficult walk, then it might be time to re-evaluate who you allow to pour into you. We'll talk about navigating worldly friends and speak to the hardship of finding Godly community. This is something we are actively seeking, praying, and fasting about. I hope this video will encourage you to take a closer look at your friendships. Your relationship with God is too important to let it be tainted by those around you. God is calling you higher, some people just can't come with you. Get in the comments, let us know what you think about friendships.
