Bryana Benson was among the first cohort of the MS Business Analytics program at the University of Georgia that began in fall 2018. We caught up with her to discuss her experiences in the program and 1 year in her analytics engineer role at Cox Communications. We also discuss the new normal of the work-life balance since the pandemic began in the U.S. back in March and what the daily work schedule looks like in recent times.

ArchNews, an all-inclusive central email list for distributing official information from the University of Georgia administration to UGA students, faculty, and staff, recently sent an email to all students regarding the fall 2020 protocol pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic. This episode covers that email in detail and what fall will look like for the incoming MSBA students and all students returning to campus. Topics include social distancing on campus and within the classroom, the academic calendar, CDC and UGA protocols, and accommodations for students.

The Full-Time MBA, STEM MBA, and MS Business Analytics students are in the midst of celebrating the completion of their program virtually and this episode celebrates those students. In this special episode, we get to hear from faculty that taught in the programs, students sharing their favorite memories, and staff sending their well wishes.

Within the 10 months that MSBA students are here, the Office of Student Engagement strives to give opportunities to students outside the core curriculum that line up with their interest and passion. One of them being social impact and the B Corp movement. This episode features three guests in how their passion and desire to work within the social impact sector led to their careers today. The Full-Time MBA and MSBA programs housed in the Terry College of Business, is home to the B Collaborative. This initiative is a great way for students to connect with projects related to B Corp, corporate social responsibility, or any social impact investment. Completing a capstone project is a requirement to finish the MSBA program. Dr. Rick Watson, a regent’s professor in the MIS department at the Terry College of Business, was the faculty advisor for 2 of those projects with Blue Bird and Ad Victorium Solutions.
