Contains the trailer for "The Dex Legacy" at the end.

  • Death in Podville Podcast introduces the first series trailer titled "The Body in the Woods". A fictional True Crime series.

Created by DMJ Imagery Ltd for The Fenland Films Initiative

    Starts 29th July 2022

  • George West known as the ‘Brandon Poet’ was born and educated in Brandon, attending the old Grammar School on Market Hill.

He describes the area around Brandon in his book of poems published in 1860.
In his poem titled ‘An Evening’s Walk’ he takes us on a stroll from the Market Hill along the Avenue, though in its entirety it goes beyond, today we will finish at the church.

As you walk, please look up as you pass along the Avenue at the lanterns made in honour of our jubilee celebrations by some twenty-three schools, clubs and groups of the town. On some you may notice pictures of old and more up to date Brandon along with a gentle hint of who decorated which.

Our recording was made possible by Terry Molloy reading the poem, and David Johnson (DMJ Imagery Ltd) putting the whole together and was commissioned by Brandon Creative Forum to celebrate our “Jubilee Avenue of Lanterns” installation.

This was made possible by funding from the Let’s Create Jubilee Fund (ACE) and Miller Trust Fund through Suffolk Community Funding, and support from Creative People and Places - Market Place, Brandon Town Council, local community and suppliers, and commissioned artists to support groups.

    Narrated:
    Terry Molloy

    Music:
    Delia by Michael Willett
Out At Sea by Angela Paulson

    Sound Design
    David Johnson (DMJ Imagery Ltd)
