This week we’re joined by dNo’s very own wizard, Mark Edwards. Mark is the Lead Technical Artist, the man who takes the gorgeous figures, dice and tiles created by our artists and makes them into a digital reality. In this episode, he talks to Olivia about the challenges he faces and some of the tools he’s created to overcome them. Of course, there’s the regular round of “Yes or Nope”, a little bit of dice #ASMR and “This Week’s Nope.”

We’re asking – and answering – a big question: What makes a TTRPG a TTRPG? We caught up with experienced Game Master, Jeremy Tuohy, to try and define just what the essence is of tabletop role playing games. As well as creating Heist at Nimressa, Jeremy has written adventures for Atlas Games’ Over the Edge and Magical Kitties systems. As ever, there’s the usual quick fire round of “Yes or Nope”, some challenging dice #ASMR and of course, “This Week’s Nope.”
You can find Jeremy's work in the following places:
- The Heist at Nimressa (DM's Guild)
- Magical Kitties Save the Day! (Atlas Games)
- Over the Edge: Welcome to the Island (Atlas Games)Thanks for listening to dNoPE! To learn more about who we are and what we're doing, join our Discord and follow our social media by using the links below. Have questions, comments, or ideas? Shoot us an email!

This week in dNoPE we’re talking about the role of storytelling in video games with Conner Rush, founder of FYRE Games. What can video games do that traditional media can't? What are the challenges?
FYRE Games (https://www.fyregames.com/) Dread X Collection 5 - We Never Left (On Steam)Summerland (Steam) (itch.io)We Never Left Let's Play (by GabSmolders)
Conner discusses how his approach to storytelling has shifted from the more linear cinematic approach of his early games, such as Summerland, to one that is more meta-narrative. There’s the usual quick fire round of “Yes or Nope”, a dice #ASMR Challenge, plus a pretty strong “Nope of the Week”.

After delving into some actual play last week, this time Olivia's joined by Jodie of Jodie's Dice Farm. Along with creating some gorgeous homeware, Jodie raises eco-friendly dice made out of jesmonite at her 'farm' in Dorset, UK.
This episode was recorded a while back, when a lot of the #TTRPG family were considering moving away from Twitter. They also discuss how Olivia basically directed the upcoming Dungeons and Dragons movie, and alternatives to fighting Goblins. Important questions such 'Why is there always a horny bard?" are covered, plus some dice ASMR and more solo TTRPG recommendations.

Join Olivia as she takes charge of a Dwarven Hold. Exploring deep underground in search of the Void Crystal as she takes on Delve. A solo by BlackwellWriter, part of a trilogy of exploration games, alongside Rise and Umbra from the same team.
Will the River of Magma prevent her from carrying out the Under-King's request? How do you make an Owl look under and just how awesome would an underground Forest be?
Part actual play and part review, this episode should give you some useful pointers if you decide to start digging yourself.

Welcome to dNoPe. The podcast expansion of the dNo Universe. In our first episode Olivia is joined by our Creative Director, Ste Curran. In addition to being one of the co-founders of dNo, Ste also hosts “One Life Left,” the world's longest running radio show about video games.
Listen to Ste and Oliva as they discuss the genesis of dNumber (aka dNo) and what initially brought them both to the company. From early conversations between the founders about creating a new digital hobby to how Ste sees that universe evolving, this episode is a great way to get to know what we’re working on. Olivia also puts forward key questions to Ste in the first ever airing of our (soon-to- be) regular feature, “Yes or (d)Nope” questions.
