This week's episode is with Katie Pratt who also hosts her own podcast C'est la Vie with Katie Pratt. Katie kindly invited me to be a guest on her podcast, and we had so much fun recording together I asked her to be on Eat Paris Travel - and here we are!
In this week's episode we cover so much ground! We talk about how Katie grew up with many food sensitivities starting with being lactose intolerant & then progressing to being diagnosed as Coeliac (gluten intolerance).
Katie shares her experiences of coming to Paris and some of the difficulties she faced with the culture shock, the realisation of being alone, throw in some further health complications and you soon realise life isn't quite as rosey as the Netflix series 'Emily in Paris'.
Katie is a huge fan of traveling and so she shares with us some of her favourite places, particularly Japan and how amazing the food is, and just so much more. We could have kept talking for ages!
Here is the link to my episode on Katie's podcast and I really hope you enjoy both episodes.

This week's episode is with opera singer turned plus sized athlete Kanoa Greene.
We discuss her unusual childhood of growing up in 'The happiest place on Earth'. How she discovered her love for opera singing, which in turn inspired her wanderlust and love of French arts and culture. We learn how she's carved out a career that enables her to live between New York, Florida and Hawaii and take her clients with her wherever she goes.
Kanoa is one of the most positive and inspiring people I've ever met. Her energy is boundless and infectious, whilst always keeping things real and relatable. If you want to follow her on instagram she is @kanoagreene - you won't regret it I promise. If you enjoyed todays show please do leave us a rating and subscribe as this helps other people find the show and it makes it easier for new listeners to discover us. -

In this episode we find out about her favourite comfort foods from back home in Texas, her favourite restaurants in Paris, what she would advise someone to do if they had only 24 hours left in Paris, her favourite travel destinations in France and the US and so, so much more. There is a bit of a delay in the conversation in places due to dodgy wifi connections but hopefully it's not too distracting for you. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did recording it. In this week's episode we talk with my good friend Diana Ulzheimer. Diana was one of the first people I met after just moving to Paris. She was visiting for her first time from Los Angeles and I was looking to meet people to explore my new home town with and get to know. That was almost ten years ago, and every time Diana is back in town we catch up over dinner and drinks and just have a great time together. I hope you love this episode and as always if you have any questions or comments about anything we discuss you can reach us on instagram @eatparistravel or email us on [email protected]
