Lots of energy on this uptempo track from Jackson Ryland @jackson-ryland.
Step Recordings @step-rec is releasing another treasure, this time coming from this artist affilaited with Future Times.
The US producer has been making quality music as a solo artist as well as in projects alongside Max D (as Superabundance) or as Rush Plus, with Jus Nowhere.
His latest solo EP "Most Necessary" lands on Catz N' Dogz' second imprint Step Recordings, following releases from the likes of Baltra, Third Son, Ruff Stuff, MSM, and more.
The 4 tracker is a collection of on-point club-focused weapons, opening up with "Vanilla Extract", a moody Techno track driven by a stomping 4/4 kick drum. Following is our favorite, "Spine Realign", a fast paced relentless dancefloor killer. The title track is another powerful gem, a straight Techno cut, guided by tribal percussions. The EP ends with the broken-beat inpired "At This Pace", a mysterious tune permeated by spacey atmospheres! -

The co-founder of Beats Of No Nation @beatsofnonationradio sits in the Electrocorp Mixtape sofa to spraed one hour of atmostpheric music selection.
A master of his ow art, Jad & The @jad-lee delivers genres bending productions and mixes for almost 10 years, and while his usual musical blends generally aim to make you dance, this new mixtape from the Australian artist follows a different path.
In these times of self exploration and home centric activities, Jad & The offers us a mix to be listened to. The selection is introduced with several downtempo tracks, that morphes into blossoming Ambient kickless sounds. The mix then sails through synthpads-driven electronic waves, chill hazy balearic house seas, to eventually strands on the infinite shores of breakbeat.
An atmospheric journey, as we said, exploring odd drum patterns and reverbing sound signals. A must listen, delivered to you by the one and only Jad & The. -
Bristol-native artist Yushh @yushh and her Pressure Dome @pressuredome label are now becoming familiar faces of the Electrocorp networks. After featuring a couple productions from her, we decided to take it to the next level by inviting her on our mixtape series. So here we go, let's take a deep dive into her musical universe made of ravey electro, dubstep and all cross-sections of UK bass music, put together under the most precise way by this fine DJ.
Through these 60 minutes, Yushh takes us into a dark journey featuring works from the most exciting producers rising from the underground UK scene, such as K-LONE, Kellen303, Jabes, or Kilig. The mix is built as a long, smooth ascent, culminating at the end with the beautiful "Random Loop From Doepfer Site" by Norwegian-Algerian artist Karima F. A trip that we are not about to forget anytime soon. -
French, Paris-based DJ and producer Aleqs Notal @aleqsnotal lands his turntablism techniques on the Electrocorp Mixtape series for this 87th episode. Member of the former parisian collective Clekclekboom, producer of EPs for the likes of Phonogramme, Sistrum Recordings, and Molly's RDV Music, it is a true honour to welcome him on the series.
The mix features a carefully crafted selection of house cuts, starting with percussive tracks, smoothly transiting to deeper vibes on the first half. Aleqs then spices up the game with some acid-ish productions in between dreamy, deep house treasures, sailing through the international seas of house for this beautiful journey.
Deep, percussive, with a slight touch of oldschool sonorities, Aleqs Notal goes beyond mixing, he's here to tell you a story, and offers a overview of his musical world. -
The duo Thirsty Guys makes its solo EP debut on their resident label De La Groove. The EP, called "Shortcuts, Jazz Reflections" opens with 2 house cuts with a beautful jazzy vibe, while the ending track dives into boom bap / hip hop territories.

Read it in French: https://electrocorp.fr/2019/09/25/argot-american-dance-music-2/
We've been following the Chicago-based label Argot @argotmusic for years now, when its founder Steve Mizek was putting out stellar EPs from the likes of The Black Madonna, Octo Octa, Amir Alexander and many more. Since the beginning, the label's mission has always been the same: successfully promoting America's contemporary electronic music landscapes.
Back in 2017, Argot released the first volume of "American Dance Music", a series of compilation showcasing homegrown U.S. talents, on which Steve assembled familiar faces as well as new ones, spotlighting diverse talents who make up American dance music.
Two years later, the second volume is now coming out, offering another slice of the American scene as witnessed by Argot's founder. While not comprehensive, the 12 track digital compilation showcases a breadth of compelling sounds bubbling up around the U.S., encompassing everything from azure deep house and Midwest electro to glitchy pop and experimental compositions.
We are thrilled to share with you "Icy Traverse", the opening title of the compilation. On this track, Chicago artist and Smatbar resident Garrett David @garrettdavid is teaming up again with Colin Johnson @colinsprojects(from Chicago too) after their collaborative work on Lobster Theremin in 2017. Here they deliver a pure house cut with a deep atmosphere filled with a beautiful energy. If you are familiar with Garrett David's work, you'll know what to expect. If not, we highly recommend you his entire discography, as well as Argot's.
The compilation also features many fresh faces and contains debut tracks by Peoria, Illinois producer Bodyman and the Madison, Wisconsin-based duo Mazumi. Argot also welcomes to the fold Huey Mnemonic from Grand Rapids; Nikki Nair of Knoxville, Tennessee; Naeem from Pittsburgh; Washington DC duo Scattergood (Mike Petillo of Protect-U and Sami Yenigun of D.C. label 1432 R); Jeremy Castillo out of San Francisco; and veteran Atlanta producer TWINS. The Chicago contingent is strong as well, with tracks by Ariel Zetina, James N. Murray, and Richard Holhburn. -
Jen Hartley aka Yushh @yushh established herself as one of Bristol’s most exciting new faces on the scene. As a local selector, she has turned her attention to the groundswell of talent the city has to offer when it comes to the cross-section of bass music with her new label project, Pressure Dome @pressuredome.
On this inaugural VA release, she proposes us a beautiful selection of artists, tied together by syncopated rhythms and broken beats, where each producer brings their own style, tempo and atmosphere. The release provides a range and depth that reflects Bristol’s musical versatility, from newcomer Syz whose contribution follows highly praised releases on Only Ruins and Brotherhood Sound System, to some of the city’s newest party starters to rise through the ranks.
All five tracks ooze individuality, yet subtly tie together with influences and sounds of a city that naturally nurtures progressive experimentalism. Pressure Dome’s offering is a fine example of burgeoning collective, with like-minded producers set on an uncompromising approach to the broken beat.
We have the pleasure to share with you the track "Always, Always, Nevr On Time" from Yushh, showcasing intricate percussion and delicate melodies that roll with energy over subby baselines. -
Juraj aka Urban Haven @urbanhaven is a DJ and producer from Eastern Europe, influenced by the funky and soulful house sounds of Glenn Underground and Ron Trent. Publishing his mixes online somehow got him international recognition as a DJ and after relocating himself to London, he also got involved in the local house music scene.
Through his involvement with various radio stations that syndicated the Urban Haven radioshow, he's decided to explore more and developed a taste for the sophisticated fusion of electronic music and live instruments. After years of collecting and playing music for others, Urban Haven decided to contribute to the scene as a producer and we are pleased to share with you his debut release "Human Experience EP" on Just 4 The Beat Records @just4thebeat-records.
Just 4 The Beat Records is an independent label founded in 2015 and run by Alix John, based in east london, suppling both vinyl & digital releases. Alix and Juraj met at that time in a party and their mutual appreciation for the music was the catalyst for a connection which then developed into a solid friendship .
With strong support from the likes of Mike Huckaby & Kai Alce, this project is finaly brought to life in the form of a physical release.
Due out on 12’ in September, "Human Experience" is a solid EP offering timeless deep and soulful house gems, including the beautiful Reprise Mix of "Roots", that we are sharing with you today. -
French monkeys are united on this offshoot release for La Vie d'Artiste Music, the Spanish label ran by Sebb Junior.
Knuckle G, Le Hutin, Vanderkraft and Thirsty Guys deliver 4 fine House cuts in the veine of the label's aesthertic: "sample-based Dance music with funky and soulful vibes".
Our tender hearts melted-down for the A1 track, brough to you by Thirsty Guys, who are delivering a beautiful Deep House production with an oldschool UK-ish feeling.

"These eight compositions pull in a by-catch of maritime folklore; of Siren and Selkie, Seagull and engine oil slick". This is how we got introduced to the new album of Wilson Tanner.
Wilson Tanner is the mutual project of Australian artists Andras (Andrew Wilson) and Eleventeen Eston (John Tanner). Here they release "II", a follow up to their debut full-length published in 2016.
Through the 8 tracks, Andrew and John captured Ambient and Electronica landscapes, all recorded in 3 days, on September 2017, aboard a 1950s riverboat with weatherproof instruments.
While listening to the LP, we instantly felt in love with the whole aesthetic and the peaceful feeling that spead throughout the tracks. "All Hands Bury the Dead" is our pickup from the release with its early 70s / late 60s electronic sound that brings back a lot of music and visual memories. -
The one and only Byron The Aquarius was our guest at the Iboat on the night of May 25th, 2018, where he was invited alongside K15, as well as Real J. and Jus Jam. We are truly happy to share with you the recording of Byron's set, who closed the night with this beautiful journey, blending house music, hip hop and soul.

Roberto S @just_roberto takes over the virtual decks of the Electrocorp mix series. Here he walks us into a complex trail of atmospheric-driven house and electro sounds, carefully crafted & mixed together, resulting in a beautiful mystical journey.
Roberto S aka Roberto is a seasoned Toronto producer and DJ, with past releases on No Bad Days, or on his friend's label Good Timin' (ran by Jex Opolis), with whom he also runs the Conga Radio project. We recently featured his "Auto Avian" track, produced in collaboration with Ciel, another talented Toronto-based artist... and we are really proud to welcome him back with this stunning mix. -

The highly respected Parisian house producer and DJ Franck Roger releases an EP for the first time on Kerri Chandler's imprint Madhouse Records. Ther result is exactly what you could expect: beautifully carved deep-house with analog sounds creating a real atmosphere, strenghten by a special treatment from DJ Steaw, who take good care of the mix & master. Both tracks are full of energy, clearly built for the club, with a lovely oldschool vibe.

Rotterdam-based Polish talent Richu M here lands an odd House cut for the last Copie Blanche release, alongside label cofounder Pierre Moritz, Kicks and an unrevealed artist.
"Tapass" is a weirdo track, a kid of 'broken' House production in the vein of Max Graef's early works. It immediately caught our attention and we are really happy to share this true experience with you. We really invite everyone to dive into Richu M's peculiar universe, especially if you like twisted Deep House tracks as much as we do.

London-based producer Rotty is welcomed on 124 Recordings. We’ve been loving and following this label for quite a few years, and it’s founding-manager Owain continues to maintain an incredibly top-quality standard on each and every EPs released on his imprint.
Owain here presents a follow-up to the much anticipated "Levels Up EP" from April 2018, with a double 12’’ VA named "No Money In House" and consisting of 8 different House cuts craved by 8 different producers.
Electrocorp is proud to reveal "Secrets" from UK artist Rotty, a powerful Disco-infused House anthem with samples from "Paris Is Burning" and the beloved Erykah Badu. Rotty is offering a really dynamic cut with a great energy and an overall feel-good vibe that will be loved by 'raw' House heads as well as electronic rookies. Great work guys, we can feel the love for House Music on this one.
