In episode 51 my dear friend Annie joins us to tell her story of getting married and pregnant at the young age of 19 that completely changed the trajectory of her life. Becoming a mom was the best thing to ever happen to her, and it also brought the hardest part, an abusive relationship. Annie tells us how she found her way out the relationship and also back to her true self, finding what makes her happy. Annie is now living her dream as a signed singer and songwriter with a major label, writing songs about her experiences to help other women going through the same things. I was blessed to hear Linda & her daughter Jennifer speak at my church, and I knew I had to help share their story. Linda’s family were victims of a horrible drunk driving accident that left her and her husband badly injured and their daughter Jen with a traumatic brain injury. Linda leads us through their story of how hard this was as a mom, and how God took a tragedy and turned it into hope for her family. From having to break down her day into tiny little dots in order to make it through, to forgiving the man that hit their car that night. This is such a special episode.
