Today on the podcast, Cassia Glass and I share our Jesus stories. We also talk about how we transitioned from the moment of trusting Jesus for salvation to actually owning our faith. It is through God‘s word and His Church that we own and grow in the faith that began through salvation.
If you haven’t trusted in Jesus for salvation, or aren’t sure, let today be your day. Admit that you’re a sinner. Believe that what Jesus did on the cross was enough to forgive your sins, and confess to God that you believe in Him. It's as easy as ABC.
We’ve loved all the Jesus stories from this summer! Join us for RENEW on August 30 and The Table, our weekly Bible study beginning September 13 or 15th. Find out everything you need to know and register at faithbridge.org/women. And find @Faithbridgewomen on Instagram and Facebook. -
Today on the podcast Sharon Cooper shares her Jesus story. One important day she put her trust in Jesus for salvation and a love relationship with Him began.
During our conversation she says, “If you’re thinking about entering into a relationship with Jesus, it’s the best decision you will ever make.” She’s right! And “It’s never too early and it’s never too late.” Simply, acknowledge that Jesus is God’s Son and that you are a sinner. Believe that Jesus’ death on the cross paid for your sin and choose to follow Him. You can ask God right now.
I hope you are as encouraged by Sharon’s story as I am! -

Connie Beaver, Director of Preschool Ministries, shares her Jesus Story on the podcast today! How like God to call her to serve the very group she was serving when she first understand the purpose for Jesus life, death and resurrection. God's Spirit moved in her through a simple but powerful gospel presentation. Grab a pen and paper because you're going to want to write it down! It's certainly not the last time you'll here it. God made the gospel, the Good News, so easy to understand that children can get it and believe. If you aren't sure about your own salvation, or if you're not sure you would go to Heaven, Connie's story can tell you how to be sure.

Today we get to hear from Pooja Kelm. I think it's an amazing Jesus Story! As a young woman, Pooja just so happened to travel thousands of miles to a new country. Once here, she just so happened to encounter an older woman who, just so happened, to be rededicating her faith in Jesus.
After our conversation, Pooja told me how God used Luke 6:27 to challenge her. In this Scripture, Jesus says to “Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you." She was trying to be a good person but she couldn’t manufacture sufficient goodness within herself to do this. When she compared herself to the holiness of God, she knew she was a sinner. She said, “I knew I needed Jesus to truly be good, to become a part of His perfect plan.”
Did God really bring a girl thousands of miles from her home so that she could come to know Jesus? I think so. He traveled much further to come to rescue us all. -
Today on the podcast we hear from my fun friend, Madi Ullman. I love her Jesus Story! Before we got to that, we spoke at length about making valentines to bless friends. As promised, here’s a picture of her elaborate creations. You’re seeing that right. There are hearts on hearts on hearts. Mine is the purple one that caused confusion and sadness in Madi.
It’s no wonder that Madi has a wonderful ministry in Faithbridge Kids. As a child, she asked Jesus into her heart. Like so many of us, at that young age and as a young follower of Jesus, she picked up the idea of being good and doing her best. It would be the trials she encountered in college that would drive her to God’s Word and a deep faith. Madi understood personally that she could never be good enough to earn God’s love, and she reminds us that we can never be bad enough to lose it. A relationship with Jesus begins with faith that His life, death, and resurrection paid the price of our sin. He defeated death, sin, and Satan.
Madi also mentions our imaginary, yet lovely and earnestly seeking acquaintance, Elsa. I usually ask women that I mentor or disciple to explain Christian concepts as if they were explaining them to someone who does not know any church lingo, is not from our country, and has no background in Christianity.
We had a fun time, and I hope you do too!

Today on the podcast Molly Prim shares her Jesus Story! She was drawn to the love she observed from friends in the Church as a high school student. That drawing was irresistible, and she had to know and understand more. Once she put the pieces together, she understood that it was the Savior, Jesus, who made the difference. He had the kind of love that says He will never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5) and she trusted in Him for salvation. She has seen the proof, and so do we, that her relationship with Jesus has been transformational and not transactional.

Today Bennett Boyd shares her Jesus Story, that moment when she “asked Jesus into her heart” as a young child. While she struggled with her story because it wasn’t exciting or dramatic, her story, and ours is the story of being called out of darkness and into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). In our conversation, we also talk about a friend of hers who grew up going to church but the Good News message didn’t become personal until she met Bennett in college. It was actually through watching Bennett’s life that her roommate wanted to know more. I hope you enjoy hearing this story as much as I did!
