Genesis 3

The Prayer Prayed:
So Father, thank you for never running out on us. Thank you for tearing the veil that we may have access to the such a sovereign God. Thank you for being the water and the well, so when we find ourselves lacking, when we find our souls yearning all we have to do is lower the pail and there you are to bring us out of that desolate place. Anywhere without you, is without life. Thank you for living water and for abundant life. Thank you for sending your son. For taking on the weight of the world that we may be saved from the depths of hell. Thank you for the blood that covers our sins, so that when you look at us you see Jesus.
Thank you for it all.
In your name Jesus, Amen.

WE made it to the season finale!!
Today we got to debunk the generic message of faith, and explore the original blueprint of how our faith is meant to be put into practice. To make this extra special, I'm joined by my close friend Andrew Palomino, the lead host of We're Young And We Speak podcast! It was so much fun getting to talk with him about all of this and to let you guys in on the conversation.
It has been an absolute honor to go on this journey with all of you and share the things God has given my friends and I. I pray that these episodes continue to be a blessing to each of you, as God strengthens you in your relationships with Him. Thank you for listening, thank you for supporting. I'll see you real soon! #eyesup
Here's the scriptures we pointed out in this episode:
Matthew 17:14-20
James 1:2-4
Psalm 62:5-7
Daniel 3:17-18

We made it through another week!
This week we’re talking about why it’s important to pursue God, and getting to know him for yourself! There is no salvation by association, friends.
You can’t depend solely on your favorite internet pastors for salvation, that’s not how this thing works.
As always we get to hear from the Comfortable Christian this week which is exciting. I’m telling you the Comfortable Christian is on a different level of complacency since quarantine started.
There’s this and soooo much more in today’s episode and I'm so excited for you to listen!
Scriptures mentioned today:
**The translation I am reading from is almost always Holman Christian Standard Bible**
Philippians 2:12, 13
1 Peter 3:18
1 John 4:1, 2
Songs mentioned today:
All Is For Your Glory - Steffany Gretzinger at Jesus Image ’19

This week we get to explore what it means to walk in humility, as well as understanding our identity in Christ. I thoroughly enjoyed studying this topic, so I hope you enjoy and grasp something from what I got.
A big thank you to all of your beautiful faces for supporting me, and to The Young Speakers for working with me. I love ya'll!

I'm sure being in quarantine has brought up a lot of emotions, a lot of doubt, and deep concern for what the future holds. I can only imagine what provokes these things for you. With this in mind, it's been on my heart to pray for you and so that's what I've got for you this week! I'm so blessed to be joined by some wonderful friends of mine, The Young Speakers! Andrew, Bryan, and Elijah have a podcast called We're Young and We Speak where they seek to be a helping hand for people of all ages. They tell their life stories, and how they've come to grow and learn from them. It is incredibly insightful and overall wholesome content. So go check them out when you have a chance! And be sure to follow them on Instagram [@theyoungspeakers].
**In this collab episode, I am praying with Bryan. Andrew and Elijah's prayers will follow within the next few weeks!**
Thanks for listening, be sure to follow me on Instagram [@falliing.upward], and always be sure to send topic suggestions and questions via DM. I just might cover them in the next episode.
See ya next week!

Another day in quarantine!!
How are you feeding yourself during all of this? How are you keeping your eyes fixed on God and growing in your relationship with Him?
Today's focus scripture was Psalm 45:1-3 touching on how God is our refuge and strength.
To top it off the final question as always, 'How is the Comfortable Christian handling quarantine?'
See ya next week!

Falling Upward
In all our humanity, we seek what is comfortable for us, and reject the unknown. This can be a danger to us, and the progression of our relationship with God. In this episode we explore what would be considered a ‘default’ for us, and why it can be harmful. We’ll also talk about what it means to be a 'Comfortable Christian', and how to come out of/ abandon these things for the sake of something better, and overall more productive.
Readings Mentioned
Imitation of Christ by Thomás Kempis
Matthew 16:24
Luke 9:23
See ya next week!
