  • It feels like there is tragedy all around us at all times all over the world. Feeling hopeless and helpless is a very common emotional response. We just had a local tragedy at our childhood grade school, St. Francis of Assisi, when it was engulfed in flames and burnt down. While everyone got out safely, the weight of distress is heavy in our community. With disaster comes community, hope, love, and action….and that is what we wanted to talk about! How can we help? How can we efficiently lend a hand or a heart to those in need? What are the best ways to show we care? We all can have the tendency to living in a Victim Mentality. Blaming other’s for our misfortune, being a catastrophist in any situation, living in a dark cloud of depression or anxiety…and so many more signs. We get really down and dirty with it, maybe even helping a personal situation of our own in the process.   • We got a lot of requests for an online dating episode and here it is! We hope it resonates with you to talk about the trials and tribulations in some shared experiences. It is 2024 and the main form of dating is to download an APP and swipe yes or no until you are thoroughly burnt out. It is exhausting. No matter what phase you’re in: 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, etc. online dating has pros and cons. Yes, believe it or not there are positives to the experience! We chat about it all and make sure you make it to the end where we have a fun time reading some ridiculous bios that are for pure fun (and to share the struggle of finding genuine and “normal” people in your filter search). Get out there! Be genuine! Ask for what you want! DO NOT SETTLE FOR LESS THAN WHAT YOU DESERVE!

  • We are so used to having any type of food we want in any season right at our finger tips. We don’t think twice about what to get at the store or when to get it because whatever we need is always there. However, what if we shift our eating to what happens seasonally with our local farmer’s harvest?     When you buy a bag of frozen fruit or frozen veggies…individually bag portions of them out on your meal prep day! It makes for an easy removal to use for meal and saves room in the freezer!

  • It is incredibly alarming to sit and think that we are already 6 full months into the year of 2024! How did that happen? When did that happen??
