I look into the help the UK government has given to motorists, and find out if there's still money to be made from motorbikes. If we're patient and hold out, can we actually turn a profit on our used bikes?

I take a look at the progress electric motorcycles are making, and why they're not accelerating in popularity more quickly. And why are new petrol powered motorcycles still not that economical?

I read through a few of your emails, including a novice DIY level Harley Davidson Sportster owner who attempted to take on a £1,100 repair quote homself, a Vespa on tour and the irresponsibility of taking out a loan to buy your dream motorbike.
And I look into a recent article claiming it now costs more to charge your electric vehicle than it does fill up with petrol or diesel.

After having so much fun on a 1990 Honda Transalp, I task myself with finding a very soon to be classic adventure motorcycle for under £3,000.
It has to be over 20 years old (because I want something close to classic teritory), it must be reliable, and I must feel confident that it can take me around the world with confidence.

The Italian stallion you may well have forgotten about; the 2000 - 2005 Cagiva Raptor! This is a bike every bit as good looking as the Ducati Monster of the same era, yet with a £1,500-£3,500 price tag as a used proposition. Surely an imminent classic??
And the bike that broke the gentleman's agreement; the 1200 Triumph Daytona 1220. The 147hp beast that can be yours for...£2,500!

In this week’s episode;
I share your thoughts on the current state of motorcycle prices- are they getting to expensive and evolving beyond a point that we want?
And a BSA A65 that’d been left for 38 years, only to be uncovered as a very limited edition Lightning model from 1965 (one of only 200!).
And I take a look at the Royal Enfield Scram 411- a bike that’s generating a lot of interest!
