Both Karen & Gillian are Alcohol-Free mums and are on a mission to debunk the mummy wine culture.
This current culture is imposed upon us by society and encourages mums to use Alcohol to de-stress from their kids, to unwind with wine after a long day and to make us believe that it's okay to do that. Well, Karen and Gillian are saying it's not ok and why should it be? They have called time on the marketing and societal pressures that encourage this behaviour which can lead to significant lifestyle issues and further problems associated with Alcohol.
Through changing their own relationship with Alcohol on the journey of motherhood, Karen and Gill and now coaching other mums that they can too, change their relationship with Alcohol and lead a better life by being the best mums they can be.
We discuss the 'Why's of debunking the wine culture, society's pressures on mums to drink and all the benefits of being an Alcohol-Free mum.

In this episode, we go deep into the emotional journey of Ceri Menai-Davis founder of 'Its Never You' Charity.
This episode covers the loss of Ceri's 6yr old son, Hugh to Cancer.
Ceri was living a normal family life until October 2020 when following mild stomach pains Ceri's son Hugh was diagnosed within days with a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Ceri's world was turned upside down. Hugh had to undergo intensive treatment and on May 23rd 2021, Hugh rang the bell and was making progress.
Hugh continued his treatment as an outpatient and even went back to school for 6 weeks.
In August 2021, Hugh's condition took a turn for the worse and cancer came back aggressively. Hugh sadly passed away on September 18th 2021.
Ceri had a choice. A choice on how to deal with the loss of Hugh. Ceri choose to make a difference, to give back and was determined to tell Hugh's story and help others.
Ceri in the last 17 months has set up the charity 'Its Never You' and has launched an app to support parents who are going through a similar experience.
Ceri is currently lobbying Members of Parliament for change in parental support along with organising numerous events whilst raising money for the charity.

8 months ago George didn't want to live. Following the death of his mum in 2018, George hit a real rock bottom moment. After making it through a few years alcohol-free whilst becoming a boxer and living a healthy lifestyle Goerge goes through a significant relationship break up leading to another life-changing rock bottom moment.
George's journey and life transformation is raw, uncut, and deeply emotional. He has made remarkable life-changing decisions over the year that has led him on a journey to achieve wonderful things. George has set up a charity in honour of his late mum and has made a decision to give back and contribute to the world in a unique way.
George is living proof that despite being at the depths of despair you can recover, you can seek help and you can transform your life.
In the boxing world, George is now 5 wins and 0 loses and his next fight is at the O2 in March 2023.

In this episode, we delve deep into the life journey of Leanne Bayliss aka Soberlittlemotherred.
This episode covers the deepest of topics including suicide, drug & alcohol addiction, and raising a child with disabilities.
During her pregnancy, Leanne discovers her baby girl has developed a rare heart condition and she is born prematurely with complications. Leanne slipped into a dark cycle of drinking and things start to spiral ending with Leanne making an attempt on her own life. Through extensive therapy, Leanne decides to cut down on Alcohol which is the start of a long journey of transformational and lifestyle change. On the 25th July 2020 Leanne becomes sober.
Leanne's journey and life transformation is raw, uncut, and deeply emotional and is a reminder to us all. There is always a way forward, there is always a path to a better you. Leanne is living proof that despite being at the depths of despair you can recover, you can seek help and you can transform your life.
Leanne has made a decision to give back. She is doing amazing things, whilst helping others and is qualified positive psychology & alcohol-free coach.

Welcome back for Season 2! In this episode, we delve into the journey of Claire Macaskill, The Running Coach.
Following a career in HR and Recruitment, Claire feels a tug, a pull something more. She has a strong intuition as a runner to change her lifestyle and is hugely inspired by Rich Roll's book 'Finding Ultra'. Claire embarks on a journey of questioning her lifestyle and adopting an alcohol and meat-free lifestyle. This led to a complete change of environment where Claire makes a significant move to the remote north of Scotland surrounded by trails and the great outdoors.
Following a 5 year stint as a swimming coach, Claire finds her real passion and reignites her childhood love for running. She embarks on a coaching journey and now spends her time coaching others. Claire's story is inspirational to us all. It's a story of changing lifestyle, changing environment and finding your passion all the while using your passion to give back to others!

In this episode, we go on a deeply emotional journey with The Happy Balance Coach Jill Grams.
Jill's 'Mess to Success' story is very raw but highly inspirational. From an early age, Jill battled with issues of insecurities, low self-esteem and not fitting in. Jill ventured over to America obtaining a running scholarship but never felt good enough and suffered from intense imposter syndrome feelings, which led to having a life-changing Eating Disorder leading to Bulimia. As a result, Jill's life hit a real low point where she became addicted to food, withdrawing from her studies and failing to graduate.
Jill moved to France where she started to suppress her feelings through alcohol and excessive lifestyle and after many years of soul searching Jill began to heal herself and found a purpose for helping others. We unpick how Jill now changes people's lives by changing their relationship with food, which is really ultimately about looking at all aspects of their deeper relationship with themself.

Nigel's 'Mess to Success' story is unique and like no other! From establishing himself and becoming hugely successful in the marketing world holding creative roles with leading global brands, and also having senior positions with the world's largest advertising and PR brands, Nigel spends 35 years living in the fast lane, entertaining and boozing his way through corporate life.
When Nigel was in his early 50's he found himself overweight (well over 17 stone), short of breath, anxious, short-tempered and doing very little exercise. These were all symptoms of too much alcohol consumption and an unhealthy lifestyle.
Realizing his body was not what it used to be and that just two drinks the night before would lead to a hangover, he started to question his relationship with Alcohol. Following a long car journey with his 17yr old son where his son talked through his exciting university life, Nigel decides he has a new lust for life and takes a break from Alcohol.
Over the course of the next two years, Nigel changes his life. He has lost over 4 stone (28kgs) in weight, and reduced his heart rate and his age by 5yrs!
He has written a book called 'Walking Back to Happiness' and walked over 100 marathons through the global health and wellness movement he has founded '9km by 9am'

Sally's Mess to Success story reads like a Hollywood movie script. Think Julie Roberts - Eat, Pray, Love !!!. Following a divorce, Sally jumps on a plane to Costa Rica and spends a few months falling in love with her passion, teaching. Her life changed and she moved to Madrid to continue teaching. However, she found herself dealing with the trauma of divorce by partying hard over many years.
Sally recognised her lifestyle was negatively spiralling and came back to the UK to seek help.
Following a course of deep inner work, she was able to step out of the negative loop spiral and started to rebuild her life. She questioned the 'nasty narrative' on how life should be and started to really accept and focus on what she could control and moved into a journey of life transformation. Following a short spell in Portugal, Sally comes back to UK and embarks on a journey to help others leading her to become a leading mindset coach.

In this episode, we delve into the world of leading Health & Nutrition Coach Archana Patel.
After the birth of her first child, Archana became more interested in nutrition, in terms of feeding her own child and her own post-natal recovery. She also has a strong intuition to give back and curiosity about wanting to help others. Archana studied to become a health coach specialising in nutrition and weight management and secured her role within the NHS where she began to change people's lives.
At the same time, Archana felt strongly about 'practising what you preach' and started to question her relationship with alcohol whilst advising others under her care. She saw a transformation in others and continued to effect change through coaching, lifestyle habit changes and improved well-being through using the power of food. Archana has gone on to set up her own coaching practice whilst continuing to raise three young children.

In this episode, we step into the world of Fraser Franks, Former Professional Footballer, Leading Alcohol-Free Advocate & Coach
Fraser had a dream. To become a professional footballer. At 7yrs old Fraser wows to never drink in his quest to fulfil his dream. At 9 yrs old Fraser joins Chelsea Youth Academy and sets sail to become a professional footballer, turning pro with Brentford at 17yrs old. Fraser begins to use Alcohol as a coping mechanism, largely to build confidence. Fast forward 13yrs and after a complicated relationship with Alcohol, Fraser has a heart scare and is forced into retirement.
In this episode we explore Fraser's journey discussing talent vs belief, high performance, and Frasers relationship with Alcohol along with his new life journey in changing people's lives. Fraser is an ambassador for @alcoholchangeuk and an Elite Player and Wellbeing coach, carrying out numerous initiatives with football clubs all over the UK.
