  • It’s the final episode of the first season of Healing Beyond Food, and today Jess is discussing the deep importance of being a better friend to ourselves and trying to challenge the inner critic.

    - How Jess’ clients have experienced significant health issues stemming from a lack of self-compassion.

    - Jess’ journey dealing with self-criticism during her time in school and her journey towards self-compassion.

  • This isn’t going to be your typical ‘eat less and exercise more’ episode about weight loss because I think we’re all sick of hearing this advice.

Today Jess chats about why traditional weight loss advice falls short and can even be counterproductive.

There is no TikTok or Reel of the ‘ideal’ workout routine for weight loss because it’s not taking into account who YOU are.

You can’t copy an influencer's "what I eat in a day" and expect to look like them because nowhere in there is anything about your life, your history, and what's going to work for you.

You are unique, so you can’t fit yourself into a box and assume that what works for one person will work for you.
