In this episode, I’m getting real about something that’s often hard to talk about: family. Growing up, I always knew my family relationships didn’t look like the ones I saw around me. I’ve often felt like the outsider, navigating life without that “tight-knit” family bond that so many people seem to have. This weekend, though, I spent time with my cousins, and it opened my eyes to a different kind of family connection—one I didn’t expect but really needed.
Together, we’re unpacking what it means when “family” doesn’t look like you thought it would, when you find yourself building your own definition of it, and when you start to let go of the idea of a “perfect” family. For anyone who’s ever felt alone or out of place within their own family, this one’s for you. We’re talking growth, acceptance, and finding unexpected peace in the connections we do have—even if they’re not exactly what we planned.
Stay tuned till the end, where I’m sharing how you can stay connected through my newsletter.

In this episode of Her Revision, we’re getting into one of the hardest yet most necessary life skills: learning to say ‘no’ without the guilt. From family to friendships to dating, it can be tough to set boundaries when we’re so used to showing up for everyone else. But protecting our peace? That’s an act of self-love.
Join me as I break down why we struggle to set limits, how saying ‘no’ is actually a form of self-respect, and practical ways to stand firm even when others push back. I’m sharing some real talk and personal stories on where I’ve struggled with this myself, and how I’m learning that setting boundaries doesn’t make me selfish—it makes me stronger.
So if you’re tired of feeling drained or overcommitted, this one’s for you. It’s time to reclaim your peace, say no like you mean it, and start choosing you.

In this episode of Her Revision, we’re diving deep into a question that hits home: Are you truly content with where you are, or have you gotten too comfortable and started settling? I share my own personal reflections on how I’ve wrestled with playing it safe in my vision—fearing that asking for too much might seem unrealistic. But is that contentment, or is it complacency sneaking in?
We’ll explore the fine line between being grateful for what God is doing in your life and limiting yourself by staying in your comfort zone. Have you convinced yourself that your dreams are ‘too big’? Or have you stopped asking for more because ‘good enough’ feels safe?
Let’s break it down together—how to embrace contentment without losing sight of growth, how to keep believing for bigger things, and how to stop settling for less than what you deserve. Are you ready to step out of complacency and into your purpose? Let’s revise your story today.

In this deeply personal and transformative episode, we dive into the tough but necessary conversation about boundaries, self-worth, and why we often settle for the bare minimum in relationships. If you’ve ever found yourself shrinking to avoid conflict, compromising your needs for someone else’s comfort, or struggling to set clear boundaries, this episode is for you.
I open up about my own journey—why it’s been so hard to stand firm in my boundaries, how I’ve learned to use direct language like “I need, I want, I expect,” and why reclaiming your power is not just a choice but a necessary step toward living the life God has planned for you. We’ll explore how faith plays a role in demanding more for yourself and why God’s timing is always better than your own.
Join me as we unpack how to stop accepting the bare minimum, set stronger boundaries, and trust that the best is yet to come.
Tune in for:
• Real talk on why we shrink ourselves in relationships
• How to use clear, direct language when setting boundaries
• Letting go of what’s no longer serving you to make room for more
• Faith, self-care, and learning to trust God’s timing in all things
