This time our we do something a little bit different, as you join me in the remote Northumbrian countryside at a pele tower dating from the 14th century. I join Spiritus Paranormal for a paranormal investigation, and I’m taking you along with me as not only will I tell you all about the history, the legends, and the ghost stories, but I’ll talk you through every aspect of our investigation on that summer’s night, and you’ll hear the actual audio so you can hear what happened, exactly as it happened. There’s a lot to hear, so this is the first of a two-part special.

This time we conclude our time in the Czech Republic by visiting a place nicknamed the bone church for obvious reasons as the skeletons of up to 70,000 human beings have been used to create all manner of decorative pieces for this church, understandably considered by many to be one of the scariest places on the planet. In the 24th Patreon bonus podcast you join me at a magnificent building we visited back in episode 21 of the podcast, but we're doing something a little bit special. In April I found a hard drive containing audio from four investigations that I conducted in 2011 and 2012. Dozens of hours of audio that I lost around a decade ago, and I thought was lost forever. Let us continue our time in the Czech Republic and visit a former prison in the heart of the country’s capital, Prague. This tower is named for it’s first, and most famous, inmate, a man who some believe never left and remains here in death. What will the Director for the Department of Tourism have to tell me when I speak with him about the ghosts of this structure within the Prague Castle complex? This time you join me on location in the wild, remote, Northumberland countryside, and we’re on a monster hunt as I search for an eight-foot-tall creature covered in thick hair, with glowing eyes, who causes the ground to shake whenever it is present. In early 2002 the nation's imagination was captured by the notion that this country park could be home to a bigfoot-type creature. Of course the area has a ghost, in the shape of the Bonny Lass of Belsay, and I will tell you of some of the other terrifying creatures that are said to lurk within England's most northern county.

You join me for a third, and final time, at a 4600 year old site, which contains the largest megalithic stone circle in the world. This time we take a look at one of the largest, and most impressive Neolithic burial sites in Britain. We don’t know how many early humans were buried here, but we do know that this place appears to be haunted.

In the Robert the Bruce room people see a figure walking through their room on a spiral staircase which no longer exists, and a shadowy figure which walks through the wall in the Wallace Suite. A tourist attraction in the heart of one of the scariest cities anywhere on earth, offering frightening fun to families who enjoy ghoulish and gory stories told by actors made up as characters from this city’s dark past. When the public have gone home, and this intentionally creepy building is left empty and silence, could there be more to it than meets the eye?
With rumours of strange lights appearing and blinking on command, strange knocks seeming to come in answer to questions, and even the apparitions of a caretaker and a young girl, it certainly seems this may be the case.

This time we return to Derby Gaol, a site of murder, suicide, executions, disease, suffering and despair. I continue by conversation with Richard Felix, and he tells me of an unbelievable occurrence he had at Halloween in front of a group of onlookers. This remarkable display of poltergeist activity was actually filmed by CCTV as well as one of those in attendance, so you can actually see it for yourself, as you’ll hear.

A grand estate built around a house built in 1693, and destroyed by fire in 1977 is said to be the haunt of shadowy figures belonging to those who knew the building so well in life. The stable block, added in 1811, is one of the more active areas. Why this is the case we’ll likely never know.
Phantom lights float around the house, and whispering is heard deep in the woodland. Dogs howl and bark within the grounds in the dead of night, and can be heard for miles around.
Would I encounter any of these phantoms when my team and I investigated this estate back in the spring of 2012?
