Welcome to Episode 193: Los Pelacaras (Face-Peelers) of Peru! In August of 2023, both Spanish and English media began reporting on a sensational phenomenon occurring in the Peruvian jungles that has continued still today. Villagers of the Loreto region of Northeast Peru claim that 7 foot tall aliens have been terrorizing them for years, with attacks by these beings ramping up in the spring and summer of 2023. While English-speaking media didn’t pick up this story until last year, there are examples of Spanish speaking media reporting on them dating back to 2022 and folklore and urban legends surrounding the phenomenon date back generations. Experiencers have dubbed the violent beings “Los Pelacaras” which translates to “The Face Peelers”, but they have gone by many names over the years depending on which Amazonian tribe or jungle-bordering community has met with them. Some of these other names the Face Peelers have been called include: pishtaco, karasiri, nakaj, cortacabezas, sacaojos, and sacamantecas. So, what’s behind the Face-Peeler Phenomenon? Organized crime syndicates, the drug trade and cartels, a PsyOp, serial killers, mass hysteria, cryptids, aliens, or something else? These strange comments referenced a now-defunct restaurant named Kutchie’s Café which allegedly sold the best key lime pie in the world, a pie capable of giving people “piegasms”, baked by “Captain Kutchie” himself. For the next 8 years, this unknown person posted over 700 comments from over 30 different usernames before one day just disappearing…leaving the public with no explanation for their odd behavior. This user would later become known as the “Key Lime Pie” poster, or simply “KLP”, and the mystery he or she left behind would be cemented in the Internet Mystery hall of fame as the internet rabbit hole known as “Kutchie’s Key Lime Pie”. So, who was the KLP Poster? Was he posting in code for military spies? Was he a disgruntled ex-employee, Captain Kutchie himself, an SEO botscript gone rogue, a troll, or something else entirely? Welcome to Episode 185: The 1933 Magenta Italy UFO Incident (The “First” Crashed UFO)! In 1933, an aircraft of unknown origin crashed in the small township of Magenta, Italy. At first suspecting it may be a failed launch from the German “Die Glocke” (anti-gravity experimental aircraft), Benito Mussolini’s best scientists and engineers raced to reverse engineer it. Ultimately they were unsuccessful, and after the Germans denied it was theirs, the axis realized they might have a flying saucer on their hands. When allied forces took back Italy in the mid-1940s, the Pope himself is rumored to have handed over the strange tech to the Americans. After being transported to Area 51 and then moved to a defense contractor’s warehouse, the remnants of the crashed vehicle are alleged to be the FIRST ever recovered UAP in the modern era. After years of rumors with no confirmation that this story was even true, both Lue Elizondo (former head of AATIP) and David Grusch (former intelligence officer turned whistleblower) have seemingly confirmed in recent years that this event really happened!

William Bill Cooper was known as the Godfather of Modern Conspiracies and his life’s work served as the inspiration for the hit TV series, “The X Files.” But when his book “Behold a Pale Horse” became publicly available to read, it introduced the public to a previously unseen underbelly of “patriot” based conspiracy theories which demonized the United States government. As Americans unraveled under threats of terrorism and violence, his radio show, “The Hour of Time” became a beacon of alternative news. Bill claimed JFK was murdered by aliens, condemned the FBI for being involved in the Oklahoma City Bombing, and even predicted the 911 terrorist attacks. But it would be his staunch defense of his right to form a militia that would eventually lead to his undoing. The term “Not-Deer” is a modern phrase coined to describe a subset of a supernatural phenomena that has likely permeated North American folklore long before it was recorded in writing. As its name suggests, “Not Deer” refers specifically to wild deer found in forests which are not actually animals at all, but humanlike bad spirits disguising themselves as deer for purposes which are yet to be uncovered. What exactly are they? Some say they are just regular deer with birth defects, while others say they are ghosts, cryptids, or…something worse.
