In this episode we share a conversation with wellness and health coach, Siri Scull about the importance of emotional connection and understanding. The ability to understand, use and manage our own emotions in ways that reduce stress, help communicate effectively, empathize with other people, overcome challenges and reduce conflicts. A high level of emotional intelligence allows us to forge healthy and balanced relationships within the family, at school and at work. It is also the basic tool for positive self-criticism, a very useful resource to approach without judgment our own qualities and areas of opportunity with the purpose of improvement.

We live in a society that is starting to question the ways of living specially for those of us who live in the urban jungle, the city. It has become natural to disconnect ourselves from our surroundings, we see nature as a resource that has to keep on giving and giving. In some indigenous communities from central and south America they understand the importance of creating a relationship with nature, with trees, mountains, flowers, animals, every living thing. They believe in creating reciprocal relationships with life in a respectful, loving, and profound way. Join us in this episode where we had a conversation about the benefits of creating a relationship with nature.

The Warrior’s Path according to ancient knowledge from the south American cosmovision is to know that when I have an objective in my life and I stop because I think that an external factor is stopping me from getting there, it’s because that obstacle is within me. In order to achieve what we want we must enter into an inner journey to transform those ideas, beliefs, habits and conditioning that has been stopping me.
In this episode we share the 3 first steps in this journey to bring order to the chaos of the mind, order in the speech and order in the e-motion.If you liked this episode and you like Medicine Wheel Podcast, remember to like, share, follow us and activate notifications so you don't miss any episodes which are posted every other Wednesday.

In this episode, Jessica and Shaba talk about understanding the process of experiencing mystical delusion.
Mystical delusion can be an alteration of the content of thought, the product of an atypical interpretation of reality, with a spiritual theme. When a person experiments and spiritual awakening, it can be accompanied by realizations, moments of profound introspection, and the wisdom to apply this new found knowledge. To sustain the growth after this awakening is a challenge, and when humility and grounding cannot be found, a delusion can follow.Support the show

In this episode Jessica shared a conversation with her 13th year old niece, about life and the relationships between people of different generations and the opportunity that information is shared both ways.
She had the opportunity to listen to the younger generations and give them the opportunity to set the topics on the table.
Times change, and generations change as well. Each one being the consequence of the one before, the younger one taking the opportunity to define itself in its own way. Making their best to not repeat the same mistakes the previous one did.
Younger generations are now discovering life, experimenting, awakening, growing, understanding and knowing who they are, walking their own path.
As adults, as the older generations, we have the responsibility to create a loving, compassionate, empathetic, and vulnerable space where they can feel comfortable sharing, asking questions, and they can feel heard and understood. How can we guide them if we don't listen to what they have to say? We can learn and grow from listening to each other. I invite you to share an open minded and open hearted conversation with your children, teenage neighbors, your nieces and nephews, and truly listen, we can learn a lot from them too.Support the show

In this episode Jessica talks about the battle within. The Warrior’s path as mentioned in ancient knowledge by many initiatic cultures, is the path where you call in your inner warrior and confront the worst enemy of all which is yourself. The warrior wakes up when he is before the enemy. The Warrior is prohibited from engaging in an external battle because the only enemy that can stop him is inside. Where does that enemy appear? In my words, when I say that I will do something and I don’t respect my own words, it is in my actions, in the signs and in my dreams.
