In this episode I am honoured to be joined by @davidgillick - One of Ireland's most successful sprint athletes, Olympian, Podcaster, best setting author, celebrity MasterChef, media contributor & you may recognise him as being on you tv screen everyday as he presented this year’s Olympics in Paris with RTE.
I first met David onset of the six o’clock show, it was quite the show as we were joined by the late Coolio, who unfortunately passed away not too long after. He entertained us in the green room with stories of the past as well as joining us all on the show.
David is passionate about wellness and his journey to finding a new path after retiring from competing, hasn’t been easy. I am excited for you to hear how he has overcome mental struggles to become one of Irelands favourite sports contributors.
David co-hosts Medals & Mics Pod with Derval O'Rourke & Rob Heffernan, and I highly recommend giving it a listen! - https://open.spotify.com/show/0IvqnoxVV5y7EQVqwZf5cw?si=k-6pOfGlSPa87MQ2KwzFvg

In this episode I was so excited to chat to Rory from @rorystravelclub . Rory has an infectious love for travel and exploring culture, and in 2020 he created "Rory's travel club", and has become one of the biggest names in travel in Ireland. Starting a travel club, when the world is grounded must have been a challenging task! A challenging task to put it mildly, however Rory's travel club has grown year on year, with over 450k followers across social media, and thousands of members receiving over 50 deals a week, and all for just one euro a month. He has had quite the journey, from nights spent sleeping in his car, facing rejections to now running a successful Irish business, providing Irish jobs and allowing people to discover travel, no matter their budget! I hope you enjoy our chat and if you would like to become a member of Rorys Travel Club or for more info, visit www.rorystravelclub.com

In this first episode, I had the privilege to sit and chat to Dave Moore @DaveTodayFM. I must confess, I am a huge fan of Dave Moore, I along with thousands have listened to the show on Today FM for years! I was so excited to hear more about how Dave became one of the biggest names in radio in Ireland. He definitely followed an unconventional route, and when you hear about his dad's story, it makes you realise that looking for opportunities and making the leap, is something they have in common. I hope you enjoy our chat, prepare for a few laughs along the way!
