In this episode, our guest Stefano Vitali joins us from Rimini, Italy to tell the story that unfolded when he was diagnosed with stage IV cancer in 2006. Given just six months to live, he went home to live his life to the fullest with the time he had remaining. When his parish priest encouraged the whole community to pray for him and intercede to a woman named Sandra Sabattini, Stefano was filled with doubt. One year later, a miracle shattered his diagnosis, not only planting a seed of faith that would change his life but also providing the proof for Sandra’s beatification.

Not everyone has a big miracle story to share, but we all have prayers that weren’t answered in the way that we asked them to be. Father Michael helps us to enter into the mystery of suffering and offers wisdom and advice for the times that our prayers seemingly aren’t heard.
