In this episode I talk all about my experience using the booking system Fresha. For so long I was using a paper diary but recently decided to make the switch to doing all of my bookings online. I've learnt some tips along the way from other nail techs so I share those with you, in hopes you don't make any mistakes that I could easily have made if I hadn't had help.
This weeks 'How To Nail It' question comes from Lin on IG and it's all about price increases, I share my experience and advice as I know how daunting of a step it can be to take.
And to round off the episode, I share the 'Nail Tech Spotlight' of the week. This week it's the gorgeous Shannon from @nailsbyshan_xo on Instagram and TikTok. The advice she shares on her TikTok is invaluable and her nail art is incredible so go and show her some well deserved love from me.
Thank you so much for listening to this episode, I hope it was helpful and if you enjoyed I'd be so grateful if you shared it with your nail besties on Insta (don't forget to tag me @novalee_nails) I appreciate you <3

In this episode of Nailin' It I cover all things HEMA, it's a very hot topic in the nail industry right now and I think it's so important, as nail technicians, that we educate ourselves as much as possible and continue the conversation.
Please remember I am not a scientist (believe it or not) and I have only been in this industry for 2 years so I don't claim to know everything! I am always learning and researching to gain knowledge on this topic.
Everything mentioned in this video is either my own opinion or information I have gathered from the internet, I always encourage you to do your own research surrounding this topic and don't take what I say or what anyone else has to say as fact.
Some articles that I have found helpful in my research are -
