The New York Giants have made it clear that they must address their quarterback situation, but general manager Joe Schoen isn't committing to a specific plan for doing so.
What should the team do if the two high-profile quarterbacks are off the board by the third pick? How does the depth of the NFL Draft fit the franchise's other needs on the roster and could this come into play as they prioritize their picks?
The team has a combined seven coaches working this week's Shrine and Senior Bowls, although this week's special guest, Emory Hunt of CBS SportsHQ and the Football Gameplan, said their scouts have been very noticeable at all of the collegiate all-star events leading into these two headline games.
Hunt and Big Blue Breakdown host Paul Dottino discuss how they think the first two picks will come off the board and who they would take with the third overall selection.
They also delve into how the Giants may solve part of their quarterback quandary and how the depth of this draft should provide them with upgrades at their most needed positions.

The New York Giants have made it clear they need a quarterback, so it's only logical that they'll have plenty of eyes on Colorado's Shedeur Sanders - a presumed top pick in the NFL Draft - when he arrives at the Shrine Bowl this weekend.
And for the first time in the Shrine Bowl's 100-year history, its organizers partnered with a video outlet to televise the four practice sessions before the game.
Fans will be able to view the sessions via www.LightsOutSportsTV.com, a free streaming television service founded by former All-Pro linebacker Shawne Merriman.
Learn how Merriman's production company plans to cover the practices and what he's told the producers to focus on during the workouts at North Texas University. The sessions run Saturday through Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. ET.
Join Big Blue Breakdown host Paul Dottino as he chats with Merriman about Shrine Bowl week and then catches up with the fans to discuss the Giants' free agency and draft plans.

A Giant Issue: Giant Scapegoating
Coach Gene Clemons discusses the firing of defensive backs coach Jerome Henderson and how the regime kept allowing his developed talented players to walk out the door and made his group a revolving door. He also scoffs at the idea that Carmen Bricillo can get credit for improving the offensive line when they brought in 3 new free agents and JMS still struggled. How did New York Giants ownership arrive at the decision to stay in the same direction with their leadership despite a second straight dismal season? What are the team's priorities as they attempt to turn around their fortunes? And what was the reaction to this move in the locker room?
The Giants labored through a team-record 10-game losing streak en route to a 3-14 record, which will earn them the third overall selection in the upcoming NFL Draft.
Team president John Mara let everyone know less than 24 hours after the season was over that general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll are still the right men to make that pick, and their process remains the best way to climb out of this hole.
Mara insisted that patience was the way to go, at least until this time next year. He also identified the three most important priorities required for the offseason: acquiring a quality quarterback (veteran or rookie), improving the defense, and adding depth to the offensive line.
Join host Paul Dottino as he breaks down the New York Giants' big decision, the final locker room session of 2024, and much more.

The New York Giants ended the season with a 20-13 loss to the Eagles, their 12th straight road defeat in the series. Who left a good impression and who didn't make the plays that helped kept the hex at The Linc alive?
Neither team loaded their lineup with the usual starters - Philadelphia because it already was locked into the NFC's No. 2 playoff seed and the Giants because they went in with a lengthy injury report.
Of note, Malik Nabers caught five passes for 64 yards, including a late 45-yard TD. His 109 receptions (for 1,204 yards) are the most by a rookie wide receiver in NFL history, behind only Raiders TE Brock Bowers (112).
Big Blue Breakdown host Paul Dottino gives you his game balls and gassers picks from the game.

The New York Giants have another thorn to remove from their side as they enter their regular season finale against the NFC East champion Eagles -- they have lost 11 straight road games (including playoffs) to their arch-rivals in Philadelphia.
To end that slide, they'll have to do what they did in beating Indianapolis last week in halting a team-record 10-game skid. The victory added some juice to the locker room despite their 3-13 record.
Philadelphia (13-3) is locked into the NFC's second seed and will rest most of its starters for the playoffs.
Paul Dottino analyzes the matchup's significant battles in the latest Big Blue Breakdown podcast episode.

Drew Lock directed a most unexpected explosion that ended the New York Giants' team-record 10-game slide in a 45-33 win over the Colts. He became the first QB in franchise history to throw for 300+ yards and four TDs and running for a touchdown.
The sixth-year pro finished 17-of-23 for 309 yards in a career-best performance. He wasn't sacked and hit only once behind the team's ninth starting offensive line configuration of the season.
Malik Nabers caught seven passes for 171 yards and two TDs, allowing him to eclipse 100 receptions and 1,000 yards as a rookie. He and RB Tyrone Tracy became the third rookie duo in league history to each post 1,000 yards from scrimmage in a season.
The Giants (3-13) earned their first home victory of the season after losing in their first eight tries.
