How do scientists answer the big questions of the universe? Correspondent Alejandro Alba explains the process called the ‘scientific method’.
Want to perform your own experiment? Try to figure out why soap cleans better than just water! You’ll need a bowl, half a cup of milk, some dish soap, a cotton swab, and a couple of food dyes.
Here’s the plan:
Step 1: Pour the milk into the bowl.
Step 2: Add a few drops of the different colored food dye.
Step 3: Take the cotton swap and dab some dish soap on it.
Step 4: Touch the cotton swab with soap to the dye floating in the milk.
