Glutathione is your body's most powerful chemical when it comes to detoxing your cells. Naturally, as we age, our levels of this powerful antioxidant begin to drop. With increasing levels of environmental toxins, life expectancy continuing to stay high, and incidence of neurodegenerative diseases on a rapid increase, it is paramount to consider ways to increase your natural glutathione levels as a means to protect yourself and your cells from oxidative damage.
Glutathione supplements have inconsistent evidence supporting their effectiveness, so why not turn to our time-tested friend, natural food?
In this episode, I highlight what glutathione is, what sources of toxins we are most likely coming into contact with, and which foods will help you naturally increase glutathione levels.
This episode was a lot of fun to make, and I hope you enjoy listening to it.
