Hello Everyone! Thank you so much for your patience while I took a break from the podcast to apply to grad school. I am now in the waiting game to see what schools I will get into so the podcast is back! It took me a little while to get my inspiration for the podcast back, but I went on a backpacking trip with work a couple of weeks ago and now my inspiration is back. Today's episode talks all about the trip and how easy it can be to connect to nature. I hope you all enjoy it!

Happy Monday! This week's episode is another is the Our Planet Series. For this one, I watched episode 4 of Our Planet about Coastal Seas. I absolutely loved watching this episode because it was all about the oceans and how we are impacting them, which you know is my jam! Give it a listen and go watch Our Planet on Netflix!
I looked it up! The difference between fur seals and sea lions. I was almost right in the episode, Fur Seals have a shorter snout and slightly larger ear flaps.

Happy Monday! Welcome back to my mythology series on the podcast. Today I look into conservation and climate change in Norse Mythology. This one is a bit different than the Greek Mythology episode; instead of focusing on one god or goddess, we are looking at the Ragnarok myth and its connection to what will happen with climate change if we don't make a change. The Norse were intimately connected with the world around them and it shows in their myths. Enjoy!

Happy World Oceans Day!! This Thursday (June 8th) is World Oceans Day when we take special care to show the oceans a little love. Similar to Earth Day we should always be showing the oceans our love but on this day we get to be more intentional about it. For World Oceans Day this year, I collected love letters to the ocean from some amazing people who all love the ocean very much!

Happy Monday! How have I made it 8 months working at a sea turtle hospital and not done an episode on sea turtles yet!? Not anymore, today is the first of two sea turtle intro episodes that I will do. This one is a general overview of the seven species of sea turtles (that live on this whole wide planet) and their nesting process. Stay tuned for another episode on how we impact sea turtles as people.

Welcome back everyone! Today’s episode is the third in the series where I watch an episode of Our Planet on Netflix and provide my commentary. I had a blast recording this episode! I got to watch a new documentary series and learn some new things while chatting with you all. Feel free to watch the episode on your own either before or after listening to this episode. I really enjoyed having David Attenborough talk to me about nature and then sharing my thoughts with you all. We learned all about jungles and the crazy important worlds that they are! Happy Monday! I am super excited about today's episode. Last spring I had a conversation with some friends in which I stood up for my beliefs. I was really proud of myself and it reminded me how everyone will have conversations at some point with someone whose opinion is different from theirs. Especially now during the holidays when people are going home to their family or going to gatherings of friends. In today's episode, I tell my story from the spring and give some tips for standing up for your beliefs!
